Really, it's a very good college for students to get jobs and good faculty.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in a cybersecurity course. The highest package offered by the course is 37 LPA, the average package is 10 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 to 4 LPA. Top recruiters are Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. 75% students got internships by many other companies .
Infrastructure: There are plenty of facilities and good infrastructure available for us in our course and department. We have all facilities like Wi-Fi, AC in labs, classrooms, libraries, workshops, and the new Jen Innovation Cell. The hostel provides a good mess, a canteen, medical facilities, and indoor and outdoor games too.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are very good at teaching. This course curriculum is very relevant; it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult; we need to work hard. The pass percentage is that in every exam we need score 40 marks for 100.
Other: I was interested in ethical hacking, so I have chosen this course.

This college is one of the top ten colleges in Telangana based on TS EAMCET.
Placements: Students placed in my course are around 60–70 percent of total strength. The highest package goes around 30.5 lacs, the average package goes around 5 lacs, and the lowest package goes around 3 lacs. Around 60–70 percent of students got internships at many companies. The top roles offered in our companies are mostly connected to computer science, and some are related to cyber security.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure available in college is good. Every class room has its own projector and campus has a Wi-Fi but not for students. There is a separate building for the library, which has a variety of journals and books. The hostel is pretty decent; it has basic features and is not worth the price. The hostage fee per year goes up to 120,000 for non-AC and 150,000 for AC. The food is also decent. But the rules in hostilities are strict and have heavy fines. There is a small medical room and an ambulance on campus. Sports and games are very rare, only once a year when a competition starts.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are helpful and good. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching techniques vary from teacher to teacher. Some are so good and some are decent. The course curriculum is relevant to the course. It does its job to make the student industry ready. The semester exams are not too difficult or too easy. The pass percentage would be around 70–80%.
Other: I had an interest in computer specializations, so I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that it is one of the most demanding courses in this new era. The events at the college are very rare, maybe once or twice a year. You can get a scholarship based on your TS EAMCET rank. There are many competitions conducted to encourage the students.

Review of CVR College of Engineering.
Placements: CVR College of Engineering is very well known for its placement record. Every year, around 1000–1500 students get placed with an average package of around 6-7 lakhs per annum. The placement cell gives you all the necessary training and guidance to ace your interviews. You will need to maintain a good CGPA (8+) to have a better chance of securing a placement or internship.
Infrastructure: The college offers hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Even though it is a little expensive, you have options for AC and non-AC rooms. The food is also nice. The rooms are comfortable and students have Wi-Fi, hot water and many other basic facilities.
Faculty: The faculty is mostly good. For some reason, the college regularly hires new faculty, which might cause some problems initially. But for the senior years, you only have the best and most experienced faculty. Most of them even hold PhD's and we can contact them even after college hours for any doubts. The curriculum is well-structured. For most of the time, you don't need to go to other sources for learning skills; you can learn them in college when they eventually teach all the necessary skills. The college is very study-oriented, so if you like to study a lot, this college is for you. They won't give us any extra time for extra-curricular activities. You have to stay after college if you want to play any sports without losing classes. Exams are conducted pretty early compared to all other engineering colleges in the state and the difficult ones are like 7/10, not too hard yet not too easy. The results are also unannounced pretty early, without delays.
Other: It is a lush green campus with huge open space and hill-out zones. The cafeteria is in a separate two-story building, which is really good. But unfortunately, you cannot spend much time out of class. The college has many clubs in dance, singing, art, literature, GLDC and so on, but you have to skip classes to attend club activities. The college has many sports facilities, like a huge cricket ground, which annually hosts the Engineering Premier League (EPL). Apart from that, it also has volleyball, basketball, Throwball and badminton courts. The indoor games facility contains table tennis, carrom, snookers and chess.

College to explore in and out.
Placements: Our college has about 90% placement rate, and the offers till last year were quite good but this year they have decreased. Last year, the highest package was around 55 lakh and an average was 10 lakh, but this year it came to the highest of 33 lakh and an average of 6 lakh per year, which is decent for a local engineering college .
Infrastructure: I am not a hosteler, so I don't know about the hostel life, but the Wi-Fi facility on campus for students is not there, except in the library, where the classrooms are decent and the library is well-equipped with books. I know that in hostels they provide Wi-Fi.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified, but that doesn't mean that they are good at teaching; some teachers are not but some are excellent in their style. The curriculum was good and efficient enough to get students industry ready and the semester exams are not that tough; they are quite a bit easy, I would say.
Other: I chose this course because I have a passion for it but the college doesn't teach anything regarding it.

Good placements in 2023, average infrastructure .
Placements: A total of 1500 students were placed in 2023. The highest salary was 64L and the lowest salary was 3L. Top recruiting companies are Virtusa, TCS-Ninja, Cognizant GenC, and Legato. More than 75% of students got internships in 2023, which is the highest total internships achieved by the college.
Infrastructure: The library is good with a different collection of books. Hostel food quality is below average. The hostel rooms were spacious enough, but the furniture and amenities were nothing special. The cleanliness and maintenance were satisfactory, but there's definitely room for improvement.
Faculty: The teachers were generally helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable in their respective subjects. They brought a wealth of industry experience and academic expertise to the classroom, which enhanced the learning experience. The teaching quality was excellent, with most professors being approachable, enthusiastic, and committed to student success. They used a range of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, case studies, and hands-on projects, which helped to keep students engaged and motivated.
