Don't join CVR if you want good College life.

Placements: I'm from the CSE (AI and ML) branch. My passing out batch is 2027, and I am currently studying in the second year at the college. Here is the placement information of our seniors. The highest salary is 33 Lacs per annum, and the lowest is 3 Lacs per annum. Over 225 students got above 6 Lacs per annum. In the academic year 2023-24, the total placements are 900, with an average package of 6 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Commvault, Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, Accenture, IBM, etc...

No extracurricular activities. Placements were too bad.

Placements: Only 40 percent of students were placed in the course. The highest package was 30 LPA, while the lowest was 1.6 LPA. The average package offered in my course was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Oracle, Accenture, and Cognizant. Unfortunately, no one secured an internship from my course.

CVR College was the best but not now.

Placements: Placements are shown only in numbers. This year 2023 is the worst ever. People are placed but do not get offer letters. Placement head lied that you would get internship and full time job but actually companies assure only for internships. After you get one offer then they will allow for other companies until your LPA doubles and would end up sitting in home for months until you get your offer letter. Also, they force us to give fees for placements. Previously, our college was good but not now a...

Placements: All students got placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Commvault, Oracle, Infosys, Informatica, TCS, Virtusa, and Broadridge. About 30% of students got internships in companies like Oracle, Virtusa, Broadridge, and Commvault. Placements are average in our college.

The college is good for academics, not suitable for students who are jovial in nature.

Placements: Students without backlogs were placed. For students with 1-2 backlogs, college managed to place them in a good company. For mechanical student the highest package was Around 8 LPA and average being 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies for my course were L&T and TATA .

The infrastructure is average. Teachers are good, and placements opportunities are good.

Placements: In our college, mostly students will be placed in IT companies. Approximately 1,000 students have been placed in the last 2 years. From the last 2 years, the highest salary package offered has been more than 25 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. For students who belong to EEE, civil and mechanical backgrounds, there will be less technical companies. Accenture, Cognizant and TCS-Ninja companies will hire the most number of students....

Placements in 2021 are good, and placements are also increasing every year.

Placements: Our college tries to place most of the students in college placements. Almost 50% of the students got placed in campus placements. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, etc. The highest salary package offered is 30.5 LPA, which is offered to 11 students. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA.

I suggest you not to get a payment seat here. You can afford a university life at that cost.

Placements: More than 40% of the students got placed from here. The highest salary package offered in our branch is 6.5 LPA. Accenture, Deloitte and Cognizant are top recruiting companies here. Very few companies give internships like Deloitte, Cognizant, etc. Top roles offered here are a software engineer and associate software engineer.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of teachers as they can't even explain GATE exam questions.

Placements: I belong to the ECE branch, and during placements, you will be asked to pay a fee of Rs. 10,000 for CRT training which is required to opt for placements in our college. But during placements, you will not see any core companies visiting our college. I witnessed only IT companies. I suggest that students who are willing to do a job in IT can join this college. The maximum number of students get a job with the maximum salary package of 1 LPA-2 LPA. You will be forced to accept those jobs or pay a ...

I am dissatisfied with our college.

Placements: Till the year 2019-2020, B.Tech mechanical engineering had 240 seats comprising of 4 sections. From the year 2020-2022, our college management has reduced the number of seats only to 60, which shows that the college is not much interested in the department. Most of the students got placed in IT companies. Only two or three core companies visited here with an average salary package of 3.5 LPA. Students have to try for internships, but the department won't help students in getting an internship.

Our college is good for studies and placement in software companies.

Placements: Placements mostly offered to software interested students. Around 40% students got placed. But students who are not interested in software get very less opportunities. Most students got placed in TCS. Packages of placed students range from two lakhs to ten Lacs per year. Only a few are offered internship. The positive point is students who are interested in software jobs will get placed for sure.

Everything is good except for placements in the civil engineering department.

Placements: I am a student of civil engineering branch. None of the students from the civil engineering branch got placed, but the rest branches were good, especially CSE, ECE and IT. The mechanical branch was also not that good in placements. The salary package is also not offered. ACC was one rare core company that visited here, but they didn't hire any of us. None of the students got an internship.

They provide good placement opportunities for skilled students, but sometimes management is silly.

Placements: In our college, almost 80 to 90% of the students will be placed irrespective of the salary package. If you have enough skills, then you will be definitely placed. The highest salary package offered by Amazon will be around 24 LPA. The average salary package offered in our college is around 4 LPA and the lowest salary package offered will be around 3.2 LPA. Product development companies like Amazon and Commvault will recruit students with a very good salary package. A developer is the highest pos...

Can join this only if you wanna join Through EamCet exam.

Placements: Good. Avg CTC of around 4-5 Lacs per annum. Very less opportunities for getting paid above 5lakhs and do not expect a higher pay of 10lakhs studying from here. It hardly provides such pay, that too to not more than 2 people. Also the percentage of students getting placed is around 80%.

CVR college of engineering.

Placements: The placements for the batch was good, but a student is not allowed for other company interviews once they get selected in a company. The companies hiring in bulk gives joining letter months later, and only CSE and its branches are preferred the most. The core companies don't visit the college to recruiting students from branches like civil and mechanical.

The college review of CVR on placements, infrastructure and the faculty.

Placements: We had various companies visiting our colleges this year, which is double than the previous years, but the number of people who actually got the placements was few. The college faculty made sure that everyone was placed in the reputed companies. Overall, the placements in CVR were high compared to the other similar colleges.
