Average college but economical one.

Placements: Students can get a better career in politics in this college and have a bright in defense. But for placements, this is not the best one. But if you want to do additional coaching with your graduation you can take admission here. The role of attendance in results is negligible.

I am not satisfied with facilities.

Placements: In our college, there are no placements and no companies visited. You have to go on your own to get a job. About roles, you can choose a field according to your interest and you can work in IT-sector companies.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In our college, approximately 75% of students get placements on campus. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA - 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Approximately 70% of students get internships during their courses in top companies with good salary packages.

An average college, only with the great potential if you can find.

Placements: There are a lot of students who clear their competitive exams while studying in college also. It's very helpful. Teachers are helpful. You can gain knowledge if you are focused. There is no placement or recruitment offered by the college.

Review of D.A.V. (PG) College, Dehradun.

Placements: It is a government PG college, but it does not offer any placements officially. The college prospectus clearly states that it offers you the best education and provides a certified degree, but the placements are not provided. However, placements drives are conducted once in a while according to government policies so students can take part according to their interests. The college does not provide placements, but it gives you the necessary education to shape your career with your own hands.

Review of D.A.V. (PG) College, Dehradun.

Placements: It is one of the oldest and largest government colleges in northern India. It does not provide any placement because it is a government PG college. It is very good for studies. You can learn a lot from experienced teachers selected across the country.

It is a good college for non-regular students.

Placements: It's a government college. None of the companies come to this college for recruitment. Mainly if you are preparing for some competitive exams then you should take admission here. It's good for irregular students who are rather interested in competitive exams and need time to prepare for that.

Overall, the college is average.

Placements: My batch is 2018 B.Com, and I passed out in 2021. A total of around 983 students are there in B.Com 2018 batch. No placements were offered from the college. However, last year, some placements were offered to my seniors.

I am satisfied with faculty member which was very supportive in nature .

Placements: No placement is done in my course by campus. There should be campus selection for students who are pursuing or passed the courses.

The college needs some improvements.

Placements: Only 1% or 2% of the students got placements. There was no top MNC hiring in this college, and this was very bad for students. Students suffer for jobs after their course. Some small companies may come to recruit students, but there was no good salary offered for their jobs.

It is a decent college with less fee charges in the city.

Placements: Placement offers in our college were started from 3rd year. A BPO company from Delhi visited our college and offered a salary package of 1.8 LPA. Most of the students prepare for competitive exams here. The scope of placements was negligible. There was also a placement cell inside the college.

There are good faculty members, but there are poor placement offers.

Placements: I have completed my graduation in B.Com from DAV PG College, Dehradun. It is a government college affiliated with HNB Garhwal University. Companies don't visit DAV PG College to offer placements for any stream. Our college doesn't provide any kind of placements, which is obviously not good for any student.

Review of D.A.V. (PG) College, Dehradun.

Placements: Our percentage of passing out batch was maximum 80%. The highest salary package offered is 15 to 20 LPA, and the minimum salary package offered is 5 LPA. Mainly students cleared in UPSC and civil services exams. Students above 75% who got placed in our course got salary packages from renowned companies like Wipro, Google and many others. Almost 80% of the students got an internship from our course, which was quite achievable and impressive.

It is a good college for B.Sc in IT, but I suggest you not to expect placements.

Placements: Students did not get placed through our college, and none of the companies visited here to recruit students. However, most of our seniors got jobs but not through college. About 60% of the students got jobs, while the remaining students are pursuing higher education. Our course is mostly about IT and computer services.

Placements: There are hardly any placement opportunities for students from the college. As it is a government college, no placement is provided. Students have to look for the opportunities outside the college. However, the teachers will help you with the tips for getting your desired job.

The college is good for studies.

Placements: Placements are not provided in our college, which is not good. If you want to get campus placement, no company has been invited by our college authority to give a chance for direct placement. All the students who want placements need to work on their own.

D.A.V PG College Dehradun is the best college for students preparing for competitive exams here.
