A good college with good faculty provides education at nominal cost.

Placements: The placements do not take place very often. In previous year placement were conducted where BPO companies ( Private) came to college where average package is Rs. 2 lacks to 2.5 Lacs. Thus it is not better to rely on college on placement. Because very low amount of package is received.

The best college for studies in Dehradun.

Placements: The college produces many young officers and politicians to our country. For placements, there was a big job fair in college and many big companies came to recruit students. The highest salary offered by a company was 6 lacs per annum, the lowest was 2 lacs per annum, and 2.75 lacs is the average salary offered in a job fair, it was very useful for the future of students.

The college is good with the good faculty members and infrastructure.

Placements: There were no placements as the college was a government. Owned college and there were no placements activities. There were no placements even for the senior batch. As there were no placements, then there was no the highest or the lowest package. There is no placement cell in the college.

DAV (PG) College was established in the year 1946 as a degree College and later on as a postgraduate college in the year 1948. In Uttarakhand, this is a good college for the students who want to do their degree courses in arts, commerce, and science streams. It has a good infrastructure and the best part is its faculty. It is the best college of Uttarakhand and is situated in the main city of Dehradun. The railway station is about 3 km and the ISBT is about 10 km. There are many hostels, PGs, a...

Looking for a degree for yourself without much dependence on campus placement? Go for it.

Placements: It is not a college with great opportunities. Better to get placement by yourself. Do not rely on college placement. No such big recruiting company visits its campus. During my period, I did not get to know of any such placement offered by the college on campus.

The fee structure is very low so we can join this college if we have financial problems.

Placements: Placements were not good in this college. Very few companies offered jobs in this college.

Our college is worth the money paid.

Placements: Students had not been placed in our college. Some companies visited our college for placements and provided non-relevant jobs such as banking and BPO. Top roles offered were an assistant professor. If you clear the NET exam, you can go for data science and analytics with some coding skills. Students had to find internships by themselves.

A college with good friendly environment and it was adapted with modern era.

Placements: About 60-65% of pupils get selected for placement. The highest package offered here was around 12 LPA and normally students get around 4-5 LPA. Mainly IT and financial companies come for the recruitments like TCS, Wipro, etc.

Our college had good facilities for sports, events, and fests.

Placements: About 70% of students who opt for commerce in high school go for B.Com. At least 20% of students got internships from our course. The top roles to opt for are to study to become a CA or an accountant of a well-established company. Most of the students passed the annual exams which was quite an achievement.

I recommend to take admission here because the facilities they provide were very good.

Placements: Placement offers in our college were started from 3rd year. A BPO company from Delhi visited our college and offered a salary package of 1.8 LPA. Most of the students prepare for competitive exams here. The scope of placement was negligible.

DAV is a good college to study in.

Placements: Placement facility was not provided because it is a government college. Students here only complete their graduation. The college does not offer professional courses so there is no system of placements. The college should also offer professional courses.

Placements: 30% to 40% of students got internships from my course. The highest salary package offered was around 6LPA and the lowest salary package offered was around 3LPA. The average salary package offered was 4LPA. Concentrix company was the top company that visited our college.

I am absolutely satisfied because of faculty members.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements. As far as studies are concerned, our college is good, but the placements are very poor. As it is a political college, it is a good platform for aspiring politicians.

Everything was okay there.

Placements: Zero placement are there for us. Salary? They didn't provide a job to us. Salary was just another thing. There are no companies who gives Job on behalf of the college. So don't expect anything from this college. Top roles nothing. There are only teacher in the college student go there for parties and function only.

I love my college and it is the only college that dominates other colleges.

Placements: In DAV, there is no scenario of placement and no placement means no job, no internship and no package is offered by our college. But it is one of the oldest and the largest academic institution of North India.

Dav PG college has a big history and it should be restored in the best way possible.

Placements: No placement yet, pursuing post graduation. Many students come to dav for higher studies and its good that now the education bar has been significantly raised as you get admission on merit and that should be the benchmark of every institution so the students to excel.
