The campus boasted good infrastructure and a range of facilities, with the exception of faculty.

Placements: In the last year of 2023, 100% of the students in the computer branch were placed into various companies such as Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Amazon, Yes Bank, and Flipkart, with packages ranging from 5 LPA to 22 LPA, offering roles as system engineers, programmers, or developers, among others. Internships were mandatory, and students were placed in various IT industries in Pune.

It's an average college. The placements are good than civil and other courses.

Placements: An average of 20% of students are placed. Not many companies come with great packages. The average package is 4 lakhs per year. The maximum is 10 lakhs. Most companies came with low packages which are not satisfying. Two students got 32 lakhs. All students get internships.

It provides good placements for 2015, good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: During the 4th year, good colleges arrange campus placements drive for students. Better or more recognized colleges can attract MNCs. The average salary package offered is The 3 LPA, and the highest salary pacakge offered is 7 . Smaller companies offer Rs. 1.8 Lac onward. Through multiple rounds of placement, gradually, the majority of students get placed. But after top companies have visited the colleges, the next companies are small, and the package keeps dropping towards 1.8 LPA. Major compa...

Review of D.Y. Patil College of Engineering - DYPCOE.

Placements: D. Y. Patil College Of Engineering, Akurdi, Pune is one of the well-known colleges in Pune city in Akurdi region. The placement record of our college is not very good. Companies which visit our college for recruitment are not up to the satisfactory level. The placement status is average here.

I am dissatisfied with the faculty and college environment.

Placements: Placements are not that good as it the base for engineering students since they study to get a good job. The average salary package offered is around 4 LPA. Students get placed in our branch, but the salary and the type of job that is provided are not that good.

Infrastructure, facilities, and placements are average.

Placements: Placements in the college are average. It is useful for average students who need the job urgently. The students, who want to pursue higher studies are not allowed to attend the placements. Also if one student got placed in one company, then he/she isn't allowed to attend the placements of other companies.

The infrastructure of the college is great. Teachers are helpful.

Placements: It's quite clear that the training and placement cell is struggling to invite technically oriented companies. But they're doing quite well in judging the market conditions. They are quite actively looking for every opportunity that they can provide for their students.

A good campus with all the required facilities. Need improvement in the canteen and product quality.

Placements: There are good placements here. Many companies visit the campus for the placements. The placements will be open to the student until one year of his course completion. Core, non-core and BPO companies visit for the recruitment process. Also, a good package is provided to the selected candidates. Some of the placements have a bond of 2 to 3 years. The job location is in Pan India.

Well satisfied with the faculties and the infrastructure but placements had a great downfall in 2018

Placements: As when we talk about the placement scenario, the first thing which matters is the student knowledge, his/her skills and last comes is the marks because company's these days are in search of highly skilled employees. And the placements scenario of our college DYPCOE is going moderate. Presently 19 students from our batch have been placed in company's like Bombardier, Amazon, TCS, Tech Mahindra etc. and the average package ranges from 3 to 4.5LPA. Overall we can say that knowledge matters a lot i...

D.Y. Patil college of engineering review.

Placements: The placement is not good but average. If a student has no backlogs can get about 3-4 lakhs per year. He/she must not have any backlogs in any semester plus he must be good in extra-curriculum activities. He/she should have a good technique to develop a rapport with the teachers then he can score the best.

Overall, faculty and teaching experience is good but placements are not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements are not so good. The placement team just promises and fails to fulfill it. It has a good collaboration with other colleges so it sends us for off-campus drives. But on-campus drives are very few. Mostly, drives are for customer support which is not relevant for our field. Soft skills training, which is beneficial, is provided.

This is a really good college for engineering for average students.

Placements: Earlier, the placement was not too good. But now the placements are going better. During my final year, lots of companies came for recruiting the students and more than 250 students got placed in various companies. The average package the students got was Rs. 2.5 lacs per annum.

Good infrastructure but poor faculty and placement services.

Placements: The placements are not so good for mechanical/production students. There are only a few core companies, but the placement is good for computer students. In our batch, only 10% of the students were placed. Tech Mahindra, TCS, MU Sigma, Thyssen-Krupp, Force Motors came for the campus placement. Executive and analyst jobs were offered to the students. Only 30% of the students got an internship from the college. The highest salary is Rs. 10 lacs per annum and the lowest is Rs. 2.5 lacs per annum.

This college is good for degree in core branch and CS,IT, ENTC for getting placement from college.

Placements: Mainly IT companies come to this college, but for mechanical engineering, the companies do not come. This college is good for CS and IT field students and If you study well in these branches, then you will get placed in companies like Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Teradata etc. In Pune University, there is a difficulty to score for getting placed as the score should be at least 60 to 65 percent.

Excellent campus life, average placement but poor faculty.

Placements: Placements are not that great of this college. Chances of getting placed is only if you have scored 60% and above aggregate in all the semesters. Students who have less than 60% aggregate, struggles a lot to get a company for placements. Besides, the TPO isn't that friendly. It is better to do an external course from an institute and get placement assistance from them rather than expecting a good package placement from the college.

College is good. From the point of view of placement, it's good for Computer Science and IT. But not good for core streams and for Civil Engineering. And for Mechanical it’s just fine. Not much core companies have specific placements for our college. For Production Engineering there is no placement in core companies in this college.

I was in the Electronics and Telecommunication branch of this College. Infrastructure: 1. The Infrastructure is good and it covers a good area, but all things are mostly to lure students. 2. Important things are often ignored in this College, most of the equipments in the practical class are damaged. A group of 15-20 students have to use a single kit to perform a practical. Faculty: 1. Teachers are mostly Ladies who have done their PG from Regional Colleges, so don’t expect very intense informat...

Aim for the stars, but make sure you land at least at DY Patil. :-P Ample time for extracurricular, as the attendance system is relaxed. Academics and academicians are average. It’s a college that boasts about its landscape and that's pretty much about it. All you people out there, you can do much better.

I was a student of CS and I do not like the faculty of this college. They don't care about the students. In short there is no interactive teaching environment at all. Student section is also hopeless. They will entertain you only at the time of admissions, after that you have to wait a lot for kind of information.
