Frequently Asked Questions

Q:   Is BA LLB at D.Y. Patil School of Law better than St. Wilfred's College of Law?

A:

When considering the choice between D.Y. Patil School of Law in Pimpri, Pune, and St. Wilfred's College of Law in Jaipur for pursuing your BA LLB, several factors come into play. D.Y. Patil School of Law, situated in the bustling city of Pune, is known for its commendable infrastructure. The campus boasts well-equipped facilities, lively classrooms that foster an engaging learning environment, and a substantial library that can be a valuable resource for your legal studies. On the other hand, St. Wilfred's College of Law, established in 2012 in Jaipur, expresses a strong commitment to the advancement of knowledge and learning, aspiring to be recognised as a center of excellence in legal studies.

While both institutions offer the BA LLB program, you may want to consider your preferences and priorities. If a vibrant campus with modern amenities and a robust library is crucial for your academic journey, D.Y. Patil School of Law may be the preferred choice. On the contrary, if you are drawn to the idea of contributing to the development of a relatively newer institution committed to excellence in legal studies, St. Wilfred's College of Law in Jaipur could be an exciting prospect.

It's advisable to delve deeper into the specific curriculum, faculty credentials, and extracurricular opportunities offered by each institution. Consider factors such as location, campus culture, and any unique features that align with your academic and personal goals. Ultimately, the decision rests on your individual priorities and what you envision for your legal education journey in the vibrant landscape of Indian law schools.

Students with a zeal for law will make their mark.
Placements: The Placement depends on the individual's capabilities and the skills they learned during extra curricular, internships and also your academic performance plays a big role. As the attendance is not an issue, college encourages law students to hone the practical skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good. The library has huge stacks of books relating to law. Hostels are also provided for law students but I do not have information about that. Every year students can showcase their talent at sports in the fest.
