Best place to learn something new.

Placements: Good placement. Almost all the students get placed easily with a descent salary package, this is the best place where we have to prove our knowledge and learn. Many startup companies visited campus for placements maximum number of students recruited through placements.

My college is good for those who are interested in studies. It can be mostly preferred for girls.

Placements: The placements for my branch are not satisfactory. They didn't provide the placements related to our course of study. I think no one got placed through college placements. The jobs offered are diploma category jobs. Only 3-5 companies visited the campus. The college has a placement cell. It informs the students about interviews. This college has IEEE membership.

Joining a good college is not sufficient, but you have to be dedicated towards studies.

Placements: The placements play an important role in a student's life, after the completion of the course. The placements at DIET are average. You should be skilled enough to get a good placement offer. The placements are improving every year. By 2020, we can see a huge difference in the campus placements.

I am proud to say that my college is the best in Visakhapatnam.

Placements: I am not selected, but my college is conducting good placements, good communication skills, and they also provide communication classes to the students. Sports and extracurricular activities are also conducted on the campus, and the most important thing is discipline in my college is good. Every year, the companies like Infosys, HCL, and TATA visit the campus for placements.

There are good faculty and management, but there is a need to improve the placements and facilities.

Placements: In my college, there are many companies conducting drives and offering placements. There are big companies like Wipro, TCS and Infosys offering placements every year. My seniors are well profited and are offered placements in TCS company. Half of the strength got jobs on the campus drive.

It is a very good college with good infrastructure.

Placements: Very good placements are available in this college. Nearly 80% of our seniors got jobs in the college placements. The average salary offered for them start from minimum Rs. 20,000 per month. The students were given as programmer developers and supporters role also.

Satisfied with good teaching, library facilities, and all.

Placements: Fewer placements were offered. The management should increase the placement numbers. And I am feeling happy because I am placed in Navayuga engineering company by the campus in my college. The college is good for learning and sports are good and less freedom to the students towards the enjoyment.

The best faculty, but the placements are not good.

Placements: My seniors got placements in technical support jobs, and few got placements in the software sector. During my placements time, we didn't get any placements. From my college, most of the students got the internship in BSNL, steel plant and very prestigious industrial areas.

Placements: There no placements in our college. Only, 3 to 4 local companies have visited our college, but once a year there will be big software companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS that visits our college, but in my college, there were a lot of workshops to test our skills.

Average teaching, the worst placements in 2016, less practical teaching and poor infrastructure.

Placements: Here, there are no placements, only fake data is provided to the people that we placed these many students in the last batch, but everything is not genuine. In 2016, there was 0% placement from DIET college. There are no internships offered by the college, and here we had a placement cell, but there is no use of it.

Average area to grow as a professional. Syllabus and curriculum lacks updated technical information.

Placements: It has a placement cell and strict recruitment training, but the genuine company placements are very less. Very few companies are genuine to offer the jobs, but with very low salaries like Rs. 10 K even in the metropolitan cities. Most of the interviews are from the non-technical field-oriented companies like BPOs for the engineering graduates.

Satisfied with the college facilities.

Placements: Every year, a lot of companies visit and hire the talented bodies. The government sector like navy also came and hired some of the guys as it is a good and pleasant location for who want to reach the higher levels. The teaching staff is of friendly nature. The college is good, but the some of them try to misuse their future.

Good college and strictly anti ragging college.

Placements: Only we had pool campus interviews for good companies like Infosys and TCS. So, it is good to grab the opportunity. For the other students, the company visited for recruitment is the local company which offered an annual package of around 1 LPA to 2 LPA only. It might have been improved now. The placement training is very good.

A clear review about DIET college, by a student studying in it.

Placements: The placements were good based on the previous year. Maximum 72 percent of the students get selected in the campus interview every year. MNCs and top software companies come here to recruit employees. However, the chances are given to students who don't have any backlogs.

I am satisfied with the faculty, Infrastructure of the college, but not by its placements.

Placements: Only One company has visited our college regarding the civil engineering. It has placed around 30% of the total students in the civil engineering department. The role offered by the company to the students was the management trainee engineer. The salary Offered was around Rs. 10,000 per month. We didn't have any internship from the college. When we talk about the other departments, the CSE candidates have been placed in the Ritchies IT Infotech. The role offered over there was that of a BPO. The...

Average infrastructure and cool ambiance do not create interest.

Placements: For our seniors, the placements gave quite a dissatisfaction. They paid Rs. 8,000 per company, and only 3-5 got selected but never got a call letter. For us, not a single company visited our college. I am completely dissatisfied with the placements of this college. They don't show any path to the students to grab an opportunity.

Dissatisfied because I had only 4 years with my college. I wanted more.

Placements: There were more opportunities given to my seniors compared to us. They got MNCs for them. Most of them grabbed the opportunity and proved themselves. Some of my seniors left with more than 2 job offers. It's not about percentage they have, but students with a minimum of 70% are eligible to apply. People with good knowledge got placed very easily.

CSE students got in HCL, Wipro etc. ECE students got placements in communication sector. Max students got placements. Coming to salary package, I was offered 12 lac/year after completing my training. Students need a good environment to study which our college provides.

Placements: Good placements were offered at our college. Many companies visited like IT infotech, Miracle, ESSPL etc. and many companies offered other branches. 50% of students are placed. Seniors are placed in good MNCs. 22,000 is the maximum salary and 12000 is the minimum salary offered by the companies. They are offered the position of a software trainee.
