Good faculty when compared to other colleges but placements are worse.

Placements: For civil hardly, 4-5 company come over here, and maximum 20-25 students get placed from here. The highest package is around 5 LPA, and the lowest packages are around 3 lacs per annum Mostly a site engineer job is offered and also other jobs like valuator etc., are also offered. Nobody got the internship from our college. The students have to find the internship on their own and then college gives them the compensation in attendance.

We have disgusting faculty members in our college. They do not provide internships.

Placements: The placements in our college were quite good. Some of them got good placements. The placement management is too bad. It provides no internship. For electronics, hardly 3-4 core companies came who hired a dozen candidates, and the rest of them are going to the IT-based companies which are not worth for an electronics engineer.

Dissatisfied because the placements were not up to the mark.

Placements: The placements in the college have started after 7th semester. The companies like Marathon, Balaji construction, Technip and Kelkar showed up. Only these companies visited the campus for the civil branch while the remaining students were placed in off-campus placements. Hardly 10%-20% students were placed. There is a placement cell, but it's not that effective. When coming to the internship, no internship facility is provided by the college. The highest package was 5 LPA, got by 2 students. The ...

The college is good for the civil engineering in Mumbai.

Placements: I am studying in civil engineering. The placements for the civil is little good than all the other colleges. Every year, more than 20 students got placements from the campus interview. The packages are not too good than the other colleges. The average packages are offered to the students. The college is now serious about this.

Good but can be best in placements.

Placements: Placements for civil are the best. Nothing for any other courses. Even BE computers placement is good. The average salary is 3.25 LPA. Companies visiting are TCS, L&T, Zycus and many more. Many students from various departments get opportunities but there are criteria which many do not fit in.

Just an average college, don't expect anything good from the college.

Placements: There were very low placements i.e. 15-20%. Average placement package was 1.5-2 LPA but TPO helps a lot for getting good jobs for the students even after their graduation. Very less placements were noted in last 2 years for batches 2015-2016. Average companies comes here for placements.

Try to go for better options. If not, come here but with less expectations.

Placements: TCS was a regular recruiter. However, keeping the aggregate percentage (which was further replaced with GPA), above 60% helps in qualifying for placements for almost all the companies visiting the campus. For finding internships, there was no help from the college. You may find one on your own.

College has good placements. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc. come for recruitment. Faculty members are highly qualified. College is well disciplined and it is known for mechanical and civil branch of Engineering. Infrastructure is average. College location is good and is just 5 mins away from the railway station.

Datta Meghe College of Engineering is located in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. 5-10 mins at a walking distance from Airoli station makes it easy for students to commute though wanting of places to hang around in their leisure time. The faculty and professors are well qualified but "some" just delivering a generalized knowledge among students. DMCE has labs for all the departments with well-equipped machines necessary for each department. Canteen is not to be talked about here. Needs a lot of improvement ...

Degrees given - BE, ME. However, ME is highly not recommended as no stipend is provided. Faculty - civil faculty members consists mainly of teachers who are pursuing ME from the college itself. Some of the senior faculty members are experienced but the impact caused due to their class teachings is found to be certainly subtle and low. The teachers take the batch as just another batch to do their duty rather than help to nurture their thinking and develop their intelligence towards the subject. ...

My experience with Datta Meghe College of Engineering was a decent one. The college building is very spacious and it has the all the necessary requirements. The teachers are highly qualified and experienced. There are a few newly appointed lecturers so sometimes the quality of teaching differs from the more experienced ones. The labs have good computers and it is air conditioned. There is a mixture of faulty and new equipment’s but most of them work properly. The computers have all the necessary...

I am a pass out of Datta Meghe college of Engineering in Electronics Engineering stream. I completed my engineering program in 2015 which was a four-year course. During the course of engineering my overall experience was good as I accomplished my engineering program with finding very few difficulties whether it was concerned with infrastructure or about teaching or lab facilities or the curriculum. Throughout my four years of studies, the college provided enough amenities students may require su...

Great college life experience. Faculty members are good, but teaching methods need to be improved. Focus is given to theoretical part of study, but more preference should be given to practical application. Placement is good, but the number of recruiters should be improved. Fee of the college is high.

Good faculty is the good part, location, decent placements. Eateries around the college is decent and very near from the station. Crowd is below average, quite when it comes to discipline and attendance and sky high fees. The management of the college is rude when it comes to office staff and office employees.

It comes in lower end of cut off spectrum. They have lots of political influence hence a lot of paid seats which leads to cheap crowd. Also it's like a school monotonous. My experiment with teachers is really bad they just read from the books and teach us no one has any special interest in teaching. Fest and other cultural activities are dominated by politics. Also their infrastructure in poor we had almost fatal incidents highlighted by local newspapers. Teachers are least enthusiastic exceptio...

IT labs are good but proper maintenance regarding the computers are required. Teaching wise it's decent some professors are really good and have good industry experience. Placement are decent average package is 3 and highest was 4.10. Placement season starts from September and last till every student is placed i.e. till Ju...

Lack of placements and lack of good teaching faculty has led to downfall of this course. There is no practical knowledge provided by the college. Lack of field work gives less exposure to students and hence the students lack basic skills as engineers.

DMCE is good option for the students who have little less CET scores college is very good for civil engineering. Attendance is never an issue. This college don't have anything as a campus but just a lobby. Canteen is very pathetic u have eating options outside the college. So it’s an overall a good college to spend 4 years of engineering.

Average teaching is there in Computer branch, not much strict regarding attendance as 60% required at the end of semester. Scope for Placements for only those whose aggregate marks of 3 years are above 60%. College canteen is pathetic. The infrastructure is just a one building. Tech fests are good.
