One of the good colleges in new Mumbai.

Placements: The placements at the time of my batch were quite satisfactory. Around 60% of the students got placed. The highest package was offered by Mu Sigma company, which was around 15 to 18 lacs for three years, and average package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies visited at the time of my batch were TCS, LNT, LNT ECC, VVF, Mu Sigma, JSW Steel, Technip, Toyo, Taj Group, MGL, etc. No companies visited our campus for offering internships.

Decent placements, nice faculty.

Placements: Datta Meghe college gives decent placements and IT companies mostly. The highest package was 5 lakhs and the average package was 3 lakhs. Roles which were offered were mostly like IT consultant or support. Some companies came for development also. Infosys, Accenture and TCS were the companies which visited.

Satisfied with the quality of teaching, good placements in 2016 and average infrastructure.

Placements: The placement for the year 2015 and 2016 (my passout year) was very good. I honestly didn't expect such help from the TPO department. On an average, about 40-50 students from one branch get placed from the campus. Most of us will be placed for the post of graduate engineer trainee and the salary would range from 2-3.5 lacs. TCS, Capgemini, LT, Wipro, Mahindra and Mahindra are the major recruiters.

Very good for computers and IT but not so great for chemicals as the placements were disappointing.

Placements: The placement is not good for chemical engineering, but it’s great for other streams like IT, Electronics, Mechanics, etc. In chemical, only 10% students were placed with an average salary package of 2 LPA. For other streams, the package was in the range of 3.2-4 LPA. Companies like L&T, TCS, Accenture, Tronix, etc. visited the campus. There was no internship from the college. In our batch, almost 75% students were placed.

Due to the location of the college, there is a mixture of crowd hailing from cities and suburbs. This college is well known for its civil engineering department because of its exceptional faculty and placement. Since this college was established in 1987, this college is old and well renowned, and it continues to maintain its reputation in one way or the other. There may be some drawbacks like lack of decent canteen, campus area, play ground and dull technical festivals, but if these are not your...

Datta Meghe College of Engineering is located in Navi Mumba. It is near Airoli station and is set in a place where there are not a lot of fun places for students to hang out. The staff and professors are well qualified however their teaching methods are mediocre with a few exceptions. It is well known for Civil as the college was initially founded with this branch. There is no campus to speak off but a newly vacated space serves as a makeshift ground for recreational activities. The placement ce...

It is a very sophisticated and well maintained college. Education is given the most priority among all. Lecturers are cooperative and highly qualified in their terms. Students are encouraged by the respective HOD. Transport facility is also available till the city outskirts and the hostels are also available and are well maintained by the management. The only drawback of the college is its fee structure.

Mechanical branch faculty is renowned & very supportive. You can approach professors & HOD directly. They are quite friendly. Students are given freedom regarding their subjects & projects and they are also provided with well-qualified mentors. FOMES (Mech. student’s organization) is very active. Ex-students & teachers are also in touch with FOMES, which shares their experiences with students to help them in constant improvement. Regarding placements & salary, DMCE is one of the reputed & oldes...

This college is definitely good for those students who really want to study and want good grades, nice placements. Facility members are good and dedicated. Environment of the college is friendly. But the crowd is bad around the nearby location of the campus.

Quality of teaching and the faculty is very bad, most professors are of no use. College events are ok, sometimes very cheap as half of the crowd of DMCE comes from a low category. Infrastructure is fine, computer lab are decent, library is good but books are sometimes not available, no music room as such, only a few people know that sports activities are happening in the college and no social activities are held. There is a college gymkhana but no one has the access. Placement statistics is very...

It's a great environment to be in, where competition meets fun. Strict rules and attendance is an issue though. But it allows us to take part in extracurricular activities and excel in them too. Great and dedicated teachers in the department, though not each one of them. Decent placements.

I would recommend this college if you're looking for a good college with average marks.

Placements: Placements are not so good and not so bad. This year, the average placement was around 3-4 LPA. The highest was around 9-10 LPA. Companies for placement are well-known, but the offered package is a little less according to me. This college is known mostly for civil engineering, but it's not bad for tech branches.

Good college for chemical branch, should expect higher average package from 2025 batch.

Placements: Mostly half of the students got placed last year. The highest package was 6 lpa and the lowest was 3.5 lpa. There are many recruiters like reliance, worley, tecnimont and many more. Mostly all of the students got internship. College helps to get the internship. Students get placed for process engineer, project engineer, etc.

College is great. All the faculty are nice, and there is a good environment.

Placements: I would say about 30% of the students have been placed in the campus placement, but still, most of them are still remaining. The highest package was 6 LPA, the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Saint-Gobain, Deloitte, Neusoft, etc. are the top recruiters. 20% of students got internships. Software developer is the top role offered.

Faculty are good, but the college does not have very good placement options.

Placements: The top recruiting company is TCS. The highest package offered is around INR 6 or INR 7 lakhs, and the average is INR 3.5 lakhs. The percentage of students placed in my course is around 50%. The percentage of students who get internships is around 10%. The top roles offered by the companies are full-stack developers and Android developers.

Our college provides good placements and overall, CLL is good.

Placements: Firstly, you have to do an internship, and then your chances of getting placed increase by almost 50%. The overall placement ratio is around 40 to 50. The top recruiting company is TCS. You should try to apply to this college.

Placements: The placements process was mediocre. In IT, about 50% of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 3 LPA. The companies that visited the college were Capgemini, Neosoft, Zeus, Eclrex, Mouthshut.com, Syntel. The roles offered were software engineer, software analyst, software testing.
