Placements: Dav College gives campus placements to the students of different courses and according to me the students of B.Sc.and BCA get more opportunities and internships with a package of around 2.4 to 4LPA and many of my friends from B.Sc. and BCA got jobs from the placements.
Infrastructure: The quality of food is good and it is hygienic in the hostel mess as well as in the college canteen. The facilities are good. The labs are good. The library is good with all the valuable and knowledgeable books. The college has good infrastructure, medical facilities, and classrooms. There is a Wi-Fi facility. The new departments are very well constructed and equipped with air-conditioners, but the B.A. rooms are not up to the mark. However, all the rooms are clean, and the college's colour has ...
Placements: The rough percentage of students who were placed can be like 60%, though it is less, DAV College provides many placement offers. Good recruiting companies are present, I was not able to get a placement as it was a Covid-19 lockdown situation. Many students applied for the placement and even got placed as the companies offer good job offers.
Placements: The placement cell is continuously trying to get good companies but the placement is still average. For freshers, it is good to start your career if you do not find any opportunities elsewhere. In courses related to computer sciences or MBA, the placements are better as compared to other courses.
Placements: In our college, around 80% of students were placed from our course. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. Many companies come to our college to recruit students for their companies. The top roles offered were laboratory assistant and laboratory manager roles for this course.
Placements: Placement is very rare in our course but in other courses placement is good. Only 6 students from B.Com and M.Com are selected by South Indian Bank. Profile probationary clerk is the role offered with the remuneration of 4.63 LPA. Around 3 students got selected by Infosys from B.CA for Profile- Testing executive with the remuneration of 2.22 LPA.
Placements: This college offers timely placements drives and also encourages students to take part in on-campus and off-campus placements. There were no extra charges to sit in the placements drives, and it offers a healthy environment for the students to learn and grow.
Placements: I am a student of BBA 3rd year, and I would say students do get the choice of getting themselves enrolled in various placement and internship drives, and you can get an internship with around 10,000-12,000 per month. The minimum package offered is 3-3.5 LPA from various companies such as Decathlon, Code Brew, Vibgyor etc. 70-80% of students who apply for internships get their internships.
Placements: About 30-40% of the students from our course get placed. The highest salary package offered is 11 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. The average salary package offered is 2.7 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Reliance Digital, Gilliard, Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, and Accenture visit the college for placements. None of the students got internships at the college. Roles like system analyst and software developer are offered in our course.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed from our college in different MNCs like Infosys, Wipro, and Amazon. I placed at Infosys. Before actually joining the company, it offered training with monetary benefits. Amazon was even working from home. The average salary package offered ranges from 2.5 LPA - 3.5 LPA.
Placements: Not all the students studying in the course get placements, and it is totally up to you on how which you score. The salary package offered depends upon the company from which you are being hired. For the freshers, the salary package offered ranges from 5-8 LPA, and it further goes on how well-graduated you are. My own opinion is after BCA, apply for internships and then go for MCA because, after BCA, you are not going to get the best opportunities. BCA is not sufficient, and you need to crack so...
Placements: I enrolled in the college in 2020 during a pandemic and I have studied the first year in online mode. Our college has just opened in the 3rd semester. But, our college does provide placements. The highest salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA for B.Sc students, and the average salary pacakge offered ranges from 2 LPA - 2.5 LPA. The majority of students don't sit for placements, and they opt for masters some also go abroad for further studies.
Placements: Placements at this college were quite average. I had also participated in a campus placement drive. The companies were offered irrelevant jobs to our course. They offered BPO jobs to commerce graduates. Companies that participated in drives were Tech Mahindra, Reliance, etc. None of my friends got placed in campus placements.
Placements: Our college provides placements for final year students who want to do jobs. There are placements cell that collects the name of students interested to sit in placements, and it is running now. Major recruiters usually visit our campus like TCS, Infosys, HCL, Wipro, etc., are many more service-based companies. Some students don't sit for placements, because they have plans to do masters mostly have plans to do MCA or MBA and some also go abroad for further studies.
Placements: Placements for economics are quite good. Some students were even placed with a handsome salary. Students were majorly given the role of an analyst. Reputed companies like Quality Council of India and American Express recruited the students of our batch.
Placements: Placements in our college depend on students. Many companies visit the campus every year for the recruitment process. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, Airtel, Byjus, Amazon, etc., are offered to the students. The fact is that students are not aware or are not willing to sit in the placement round because many students are preparing for their masters. If you want to get a job, then it provides the best opportunity. An internship is not provided here. You can find an internship on your own.
Placements: I was in the department of public administration. I have done Masters in 2018-20. Lots of companies came here with a minimum package of 5-6 Lacs per annum, but I did not get to participate in placements. I would suggest everyone take part in the campus placements.
Placements: Students got placed in top MNCs like Wipro, Accenture, TCS, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, etc. The salary package offered was 1 LPA. About 80% of the students from our course got an internship. All students get well-settled in MNC. The best IT course is offered by the college with proper placements.
Placements: Almost 50% of the students got placed. The rest of the students were not interested in placements. The highest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Most of the students were not interested in internships, and there is no such initiative by the college as well.
