Placements: I actually don't know much about the placements which are offered by our college. However, this review is upon the review received from the other students. The students don't hold much reputation of the college with regard to the placements. In the end, it all depends upon the efforts of the students.
Placements: Placements are good, especially for B.Sc. students. More and good placements are available for computer science students. Most of the B.Sc. students preferred M.Sc. for better job opportunities. There is also a placement cell in college to provide such opportunities.
Placements: In the last of college students are eligible for placements. Tech Mahindra and bull's eye etc., are the company that visited the campus and made offers. 50%-60% students get placed in good companies. 75000-100000 are the average package a students can get.
Placements: Every different IT companies come to our college for placements. Interested students can come for interviews and very less gets selected. Jobs offered can be of different types like a designer, accountant, digital marketing based, analyst, etc. Starting salary is around Rs.15000 per month.
Placements: Companies like Deloitte come to our college for placements. But the number of startup companies is growing and they come for the placement of different roles. As I am from the IT department, more technical-based jobs are offered to us, like web development, cyber security, etc. A good number of internships are also offered to us, but they are not very tempting. Only a few students applied for different jobs and internships. Out of 10, only 2 were selected.
Placements: I think the percentage of students getting placements is low in our college. Approximately 20-25% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA - 10 LPA. For the past few years due to covid, the recruiting was not done in our college. Covid has a huge impact on students' careers.
Placements: The one who studied get placements which is great. A lot of companies visit our campus for placements. The ones who are serious get the placements and the crowd is great.
Placements: As per my knowledge, the students of B.Sc. non-M.Ed will not get placed from college, and in case of the students of BCA stream, the companies will come to our college to recruit them, but if you have a degree of B.Sc., then you can go to company for a job which suits your interest. I recommend opting for post-graduation after B.Sc.
Placements: We can take participation in extra curriculum activities like dancing singing sports and dramatics too. As mentioned in the website of college, White hat jr is the only recruiting company. I don't know about the percentage of students get internship.
Placements: Would recommend for students who just want a graduate degree. If you want good placements and high packages, then not a great option. Try to get admission in Punjab university itself or maybe go for it if you have enough patience for success. All in all not a bad choice.
Placements: There is no placement cell or placement facilities from our college. The placement cell is weak and isn't active since a very long time. A senior said that she got placed, but the salary offered was really low and not at all related to the field of study. Overall, there are no placement/internship opportunities.
Placements: I have checked the student portal of the college. In the training and placement cell, I have read about two of our seniors getting placed with a salary package of around 2-3 LPA. Internship opportunities are good. We have job fairs from where you may get a job, but they may not pay that well. You can improve your skillset, and you can get good jobs. Overall, placements in the college are below the bar.
Placements: There are 50 seats in this course, and every student got more than 60% of marks in their 12th class. The highest salary package of 12 LPA is provided by different companies for students. Nestle and some companies from Haryana and Punjab visit here. Every student has to do an internship in all 3 years as it is compulsory in this vocational course like in every department of the food industry. This course offers jobs like auditor, QC/QA, etc.
Placements: Placement is hardly of 10% from the side of college in my course and packages on an average is around 15 to 20k per month. My course don't have any kind of internships such but the course who have it for then internships are provided one of my friend also did it.
Placements: There are no placements I have heard of till now, and I don't think there is any placement provided in this course (bachelor of science in non-medical), but I think there must be placements for other courses like BCA, B.A etc. I am still in my final year, so I don't know enough about it.
Placements: DAV College Chandigarh is one of the best colleges of Punjab University. It is located in a very developed city, so placements provided by local companies are also very good. Various internships are also available in our college. Many companies like Wipro, HCL, etc., visit here for recruitment.
Placements: The placements are average, to be really honest. This college doesn't provide technical courses, so the placements are zero. No one gets admission here because of placements. But Chandigarh is a very big city, and you can get a variety of options here if you are an intelligent person.
Placements: Our college has its own placement cell, and the placements are majorly provided for MBA only. However, job fairs are also organised from time to time, where various jobs are offered. The salary offered is around Rs. 10,000-15,000 per month, and it is more of a graduation college.
Placements: Because of the COVID pandemic, none of the companies visit our college for placement. So we did not get the opportunity to have the roles, but our seniors got offered from good companies like Nestle, etc. I did not get the chance of placement because of some undeniable situations.
