Placements: DAV College is pretty good for enjoying your college life. I completed my graduation in B.Sc. Medical last year, but there were no internship or placements for this course. Companies came here every year, and they have different eligibility criteria. If you are eligible, you can definitely go for the interview.
Placements: In my college, students who have scored 80 above will get internships in good companies and every year higher companies take interviews of all students and give good packages to selected students which is very good opportunity for us. I also got selected from one of them.
Placements: In BBA, you get to learn about computer software programming. In software, programming indicates to program the app web or maintain the data. If you pursue BCA, then the salary offered would be Rs. 19,000 to 50,000 per month. In BCA, you would be well-skilled with the course of computers. Students who scored 60% or above can get an internship.
Placements: Around 5% of the students got placed from our course. The highest package offered was 3.5 LPA. Companies that recruited from our course are not popular, but students are satisfied with the packages offered. I have appeared for the placements, but I couldn't get placed because my communication skills were poor.
Placements: The average salary package offered varies from 2.5 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiters of our college are Deloitte, Amazon, TCS, Wipro, NIIT, Vivo and TCS. About 60% of the students applied for internships, and students often go for masters.
Placements: I opted for B.Com and many of my friends got recruited in good companies like Birla, Amazon and Godrej. They got placed at good posts like a financial accountant, marketing managers, etc. The salary packages offered were decent for beginners. Most of the students decide to go for an MBA or M.Com after B.Com.
Placements: None of the students got placed from our college. Anyone hardly qualifies after graduating from this course for any job. Not even a single company or institute visited the campus to hire from this course. It is possible to do a job after doing graduation in psychology from this college.
Placements: More than 70% of the students got the best of internships from different recruiting companies which are number one. The average salary package offered from our course was rupees 1 LPA. Top roles are offered in our course from different companies.
Placements: Our college had a very good placement team, and they work for students in a good way. All the students got internships from college. Almost all the students got placements during our process. Every year, many companies visit the campus for the placement process.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements, except for some time. Only some students got placed at our time. During our tenure, with a new principal, the placement rate is hiked, and many companies directly visit our college for placements. Companies like eClerx, Contingent and many other companies visit our college for placement. They provide you with a chance to participate in job fest of different colleges which are under PU.
Placements: The placement process is not very good as students don't show interest. So companies do not hire a single student. Companies like eClerx, Contingent and many other companies visit our college for placement drives. They provide you with a chance to participate in job fest of different colleges which are under PU.
Placements: Many students were placed on good levels in many ways like actors, singers, sportsman, etc. Overall, the placements are good. Many students are also placed by NCC and other fields. Students are given a chance to face interview even in 1st year also to make them ready when they have to face it.
Placements: Out of 10 students, about 5 students got placed from our class. Among them, the highest salary package offered to a student was 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Wipro, Infosys, IBM, etc. The average salary package offered by companies is 3 LPA. Almost 90% of the students got internships in MNCs at IT Park of Chandigarh.
Placements: A common job fair is conducted in the college campus in which companies like Amazon, Bullseye, Finxera, Atulaya Health Care, Tech Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Quick Relation, Mahindra Holiday and Resorts, NIIT, etc., visit here for placements. The average salary package offered is around 2-3 LPA for all the final year students and postgraduate diploma students. Students can also apply for jobs outside the campus on their own basis.
Placements: In my class there were 25 students only and lowest was 12k and highest was 30k. Teleperformance was the company. 60% of students get placement. It is well known college if you passed in first division you definable get a job you do not need to worry about that.
Placements: Most of the students got placed from commerce and science course. Many of the banks and the companies regularly visited for the placement sessions. Even the placements were well-organised to attract students to take participation in it.
Placements: I passed the Bachelors of Science in the year 2017. In this course, I learnt about physics, chemistry and mathematics in detail with some history and culture of Punjab and English. About 80% of the students got placed. Pharma, mechanical and electrical companies visited the college to recruit students from our course.
Placements: There were no placements for B.Sc. B.A. B.Com. Batch. However, there were some placements for Master of Economics (ME) and the highest package offered was somewhere between 3 lacs to 3.6 lacs. Because DAV is a non-technical college, so there's less to no focus on placements but only on education and degree.
Placements: There are no placements in bachelor of the science department. Students after completion of his bachelors have to go either for masters or any programme to find a job. There is only a drawback that a science student does not have internship programmes, where one can get experience.
Placements: B.Sc is a non-technical degree and hence no placements as such were provided for the batch. However, there were other streams for example Masters in Business Economics (MBE) in which placements were provided. I've heard from my friends that maximum salary offered was Rs 30,000/- per month.
