Placements: Placements in DAVV-10 Chandigarh are not that satisfactory. Firstly, they don't notify us before they schedule interviews. Students get to know it the day before the scheduled date. Companies that come are local companies which do not offer good packages.
Placements: The college provides a good number of placements, but not as required. The salary packages offered are low. The college needs to work on its placements. The placements should be based on the course, and not related to call centres or data entry. I guess there would be new changes introduced by the principal in the coming years.
Placements: Placements in our college are good but could be better. Small companies visit the campus offering a package of around 3 lacs per annum. The placement cell needs to be more active. E&Y and Vivo are the top recruiters. The roles offered are related to accounting and marketing. Internship opportunities are not offered.
Placements: Placements in the college are good. There is a placement cell which helps students with queries regarding placements. Students can easily get placed if they have proper knowledge. Almost 20%-30% of students got placed easily. But internship opportunities are not at all provided by the college.
Placements: I don't have much idea about placements in DAV as I did my Bachelors from MCM DAV college. But, according to me, the placement cell of DAV is average, and the packages offered are not much good. Different roles are offered to the students according to their qualifications.
Placements: Placements in the college are not as good as they should be. Small companies approached the college for placements offering about Rs. 12,000 to 15,000 per month salary to students. Nearly 5% of students got jobs and that too as accountants. Improvement is required in the placements aspect by providing more facilities to students.
Placements: The placements in our college are too good. I am one of those candidates who got selected for placements. I got an offer letter from Cipla. My friends also got placed in Dr Reddy's Laboratory in Baddi. Some of my friends got placed in construction companies like L&T.
Placements: Placements provided by the college were fine. Deserving candidates got jobs after the completion of their course. Quite a few companies visited the college and recruited the students. Wipro, Infosys, etc., visited our college after mid-term examinations and recruited the students and the students had to join after their graduation.
Placements: There are not many opportunities here for students after their graduation, but I don't have an idea about post-graduation. But companies visit our campus but not on a large scale. No placement week or placement brochure is published by the college authorities. There are no details about placements for undergraduates.
Placements: The placements have never been too great for any batch. A few companies do come, but not many students opt for college placements. The highest package has always been around Rs. 3 Lacs per annum. Companies like Eclerx, Star plus, and different banks come to the college for placements. No company comes to provide internships. Students generally find one on their own and do it during the academic session only, since there is no break or separate semester for the same.
Placements: Here more companies are coming to give jobs for students and students also get scholarship from the college and other institutions. This college has no extra charges for students. Students will also participate in NSS programs and students get the bus pass also from college. Therefore this college is very helpful for students.
Placements: Placements are very less for the students of B.A. here. Very few students get jobs and package lies between 1-2L only. There is a placement cell in our college but for B.A. students opportunities are very less. Students with aggregate of 60 percent are allowed to sit in placements.
Placements: The placements in our college are the best. There are good and helpful teachers and other staff members. Their quality of teaching is the best. Students are helpful to one another. The management of the college is good. The average salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. Many companies visited the campus. The college has a placement cell. The placement percentage of the college is 65%.
Placements: Placement were not there when I completed my graduation in my streem but now many consultants are their for placement in Delhi and Chandigarh. And if there is some good then may be international placement can be done in near future. A man or female should come in his lifetime to feel the environment o this college.
Placements: This college does't provide campus recruitment. But regular students may score high in their subjects and have a good earning in future. Although, we have told that there will be campus recruitment but I haven't seen a single student being placed straight away from the campus.
Placements: Not so much opportunities for arts stream, very less students get placed. Yes, we do have a placement cell in our college, students getting minimum of 60% aggregate are allowed to register them for placement. Our college also held seminars to aware students about placement.
Placements: In case of placements college was not good. 15-20 percent students got placed every year. The highest package was of 3 Lacs offered to the students. Students of B.Com etc. Got placements. As usual there was no placements for B.A. students in every college.
Placements: Placements of the college was not good. Only 15-20 percent of students got placed every year. The highest package offered by the companies was of 2.5 Lacs per annum. Mostly banks were visited to our college for doing the placements. If we don't talk about placements then otherwise college was good.
Placements: Placements of the college was not up to the mark. Very few students got placed in our college that is 10-20%. The highest package offered to the students was for near about 3 Lacs. Except from placements, college was good. Many functions happened in the college like singing, dancing, etc.
Placements: The college was not good at all for placements as very less no of students got placements in our college. Only 10 to 20 percent students got placed, and according to my knowledge, the salary offered to the students was very less that is 3 to 4 lacs per annum. Many companies visited our college out of which some are very popular in public. It is a good college for sports students, and many opportunities are given to the sports students to show their talent. Besides from the placements, the colleg...
