My experience in the college is good.
Placements: Placements in our college were good compared to other colleges in the city except MLN college. Companies like IBM (Concentrix), Genpact, Delloite and her reputed MNCs do visit the campus for placement drives and hire the students in bulk. The package offered is around 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA. These details are of the commerce department only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games, etc., are available on the campus. The college does not occupy 100 acres, but it has every facility that a good college has. The campus also has a boutique and salon where you can learn and practice skills. Archery and fencing kind of games are conducted for students to learn professionally. The campus has a huge and well-maintained swimming pool which can be availed at a reasonable fee.
Faculty: Faculty members are good except some dominating and old-mentality teachers. If they see students using mobile phones on the campus, they will read all the chats on the phone and make fun of it. But, using phones on the campus is not prohibited. Quality of education provided is good, the theoretical part is more focused.
Other: DAV is famous for being involved in cultural and sports activities. For some state and national level competitions, DAV hires the best talent from the state to teach dance and theatre things to students. There is a lot to learn in DAV and shape your future if you know how to get out of your comfort zone.

DAV helped me in enhancing my skills, and I gained a lot from the college.
Placements: Placements in our college were good. Approximately, 50% of the students were placed. The salary package offered was good. The security offered was also good. Companies like Genpact, Zomato, Wipro, IBM, etc., visited our college to conduct placement drives. A placement cell is available in our college which was really helpful and useful for us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was excellent. The college provided good Wi-Fi facilities. The college also has computer labs. Medical facilities provided were really good. The library has magazines, journals, etc., that provide good knowledge to students. Sports and games facilities provided were good enough. Various expert lectures were regularly conducted in our college to provide some extra knowledge to the students. They show some movies related to moral value to the students. The auditorium was very well-managed to conduct events.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very cooperative and knowledgeable. They support us every time. Not only theoretical knowledge was provided, but they also helped us in gaining practical knowledge. Teachers were good, and they treated us like their children.
Other: Various competitions were organised by different departments, every week. Scholarships were provided to the needy.

Good college for girls who cannot pay a huge amount of fees and needs a reputable degree.
Placements: DAV college for girls is good in placements in comparison to the fees they charge. They invite companies like Genpact, Accenture. The college takes the students to off-campus placements as well. On an average 70 to 80percent students gets placed through the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is average. The college has lots of rooms equipped with projectors but the playground is small, and it lacks in the seating area. The auditorium of the college is marvellous, it is equipped with AC and is well furnished.
Faculty: The faculty of DAV college for girls is good as compared to other colleges in Yamunanagar, They are strict and focus on every student, attendance is keenly checked by each faculty as well as the Head of the Department (HOD). Most of the faculty have a PhD degree.
Other: DAV college for girls is affiliated to (Kuk) Kurukshetra University which is a well-renounced university of India and is ranked 4th in Haryana state. DAV college looks for the benefits of the students as they provide additional courses like a shooting range, instrumental learning, sports learning as well as give an excellent opportunity for girls.

I don't suggest this college for placements.
Placements: Placements in DAV are not good. Only BPOs come for commerce students, but for technical and non-technical departments, good companies offer placements. You have to compete with a huge crowd for this. Compared to technical and non-technical departments, the placement ratio of commerce department is low. M.Com students are recruited as faculty in our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good, but the seating area on the campus is small. The campus is small and clumsy, considering the strength of the college. If you are looking for a girls' college, you can take admission in here after trying for all the better options and failed.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They always support you to get exposure. They organise many motivational lectures and prepare students for the corporate world. A 3-day workshop is organised. Various debates, competitions and youth festivals are organised where students show their talent, apart from studies.
