I suggest you don't choose a college based on its reputation and choose based on its experience.

Placements: I am a student of 2022 passed out batch of B.Tech electronics and communication engineering. Around 25% of students got placed from ECE. The highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. None of the core companies visited our college. All the placements conducted are only in the field of software engineer, patents and research. Moreover, the companies that visited here mostly are from the location of Chandigarh and Mohali.

Dissatisfied with the placement and study rest is all good.

Placements: For BCA the company provided are for marketing post. Few companies come. Mostly good position are offered to engineering students, best college for engineering. My experience was very bad now what happens in future I don't know about it. So just make sure about your course.

Dissatisfied because of lack of placements.

Placements: Only 10% are placed but most of them are placed in different streams. The package offered by the company was 9k to 15k. Companies like Ralcen tyre, Gna, JJ jonix, and local company are the top recruiting companies. 0 % of students got internship from B.Tech mechanical.

A college where discipline is well-followed. We have a well-maintained campus with all facilities.

Placements: No placements were organised yet. However, we are looking forward to better results. Companies which are of students' interests are not visiting the campus for placements, so the college needs to take some steps to look after this issue. Some companies are supposed to visit here, but they didn't visit the campus until now. So, they have to remind those companies to conduct placement drives.

Okay. I suggest you not to take admission in this college.

Placements: Placements are negligible. Only one company comes here to recruit and they only take 2-3 students. And the placement is mostly in the south. Shapoorji pallonji comes here to recruit. They don't take interview like a interview, they make your interview like a degree viva.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The institute has placement and training cell to look after the placement activities. The training and placement cell provides official support to pre-final and final year students. Around 30% of the students got placed. Top companies that come for placement are Wipro, Zscaler. I don't know about the internship.

My experience in this college was neither too good nor too bad.

Placements: The placements were poor for my senior batch. 20-25% percent of the students were placed. The highest package offered was 3.5 lakhs pa, and the lowest was 2.5 lakhs pa. The average was 2.75 lakhs pa. The companies visiting our campus were Shirpoorji from Pune and Honda. The students who got the internship was about 5/10 percent, but the placements were high for the CSE.

DAVIET- An institution which can grow with proper guidance.

Placements: The placements are average. Only a few mass recruiters come but the overall package is below par. Assistance offered to the students is good but both the parties need to be actively participating. Now the trend is changing but at the time I graduated, not much was provided to us. So such a thing is being tackled here. I will rate placements at DAVIET 2.4/5.

Good faculty but bad placements

Placements: Placements for seniors and our batch were almost the same. Around 50-60% students were placed in the campus drives. Major recruiters were from the IT sectors like Wipro and local companies visited for core branches. Mostly, students were offered the roles of Project engineer and GET. No internship facility is provided by the institute.

DAVIET is one of the best college of engineering in Punjab. It has good infrastructure with seminar halls, auditoriums, dedicated research labs, bank facility, eating joints and sports facilities. Faculty of DAVIET was experienced one. Small number of good companies come for placements.

College is good. Campus is kept well. Faculty is good and can get full exposure to cultural activities. Sports activities were good but now it may have changed. College doesn’t have a wide area for different events that is where it lag. Tech fest is not given importance. College compare itself to top Universities but they should meet their standards first. Placements is not 100% and no specials classes for different technologies are provided. Now they have become University so maybe there will b...

It is one the best engineering colleges in Punjab and only top CET Punjab rankers can get admission in this college. Rules are a bit strict in college, in terms of not carrying mobile phones in campus and attendance is compulsory, etc. In terms of studies and placement, it is a quite reputed college in Punjab.

The college environment is quite nice. Faculty members are highly educated. That gives you brilliant support to achieve your personal goals. The placement department of college is also quit decent. The only bad thing you have face out is high amount of fees and donations.

I am not satisfied with this college.

Placements: Our batch is first batch in college, so there is no placement as yet and there is no facility for internship as well. Outsiders are invited, but prices are too high. There are no top recruiting companies for BHMCT. A lot of racism on display over there.
