Learning HRD the right way at DSE.
Placements: The final placements in my college have been pretty good. Companies like Deloitte, JP Morgan Chase and Co, Atomberg, Samsung, ICICI Bank, Tata, CK Birla, etc., visit us. The highest package offered was 26.7 Lac, the lowest was somewhere around 8.6 Lac, and the average is 14 Lac. As far as my knowledge goes, almost 90% or more of the batch got placed. This is usually the case here. Now coming to the summer internships, we have ICICI Bank, Hindalco, Samsung, this Group, JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, etc., visiting us. We get offered different roles like HR Analytics, Consulting, HR Generalist, Operations, Talent Acquisition, etc.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is there, classrooms are fine but could have been better. We have computer labs for people into analytics. Then we have one of the best libraries in the region in the form of Ratan Tata Library. We have DU medical centre around 150 meters from our college and then we have DU sports complex altogether nearby which is very cheap and has almost all the facilities one needs. I am not in the hostel myself but from a friend, I've heard they're actually very nice, even the food is pretty good compared to other hostels he has stayed in.
Faculty: The teachers are qualified and knowledgeable, I would say, just the one drawback of our college is the curriculum being old and up to the current market standards. Although we have live project opportunities before even the summer internship that help us get ready for the industry. We have assessments throughout the semester but have proper exams only once at the end of the semester and they are of staggering 70% of weightage. They are moderate to difficult which actually makes sense. The pass percentage here is 45.
Other: My sole reason for choosing this course was the ROI here which is one of the best in all of India. Apart from ROI, I would say that being in DSE and North Campus, you're surrounded by various people from different domains which is a pretty good thing for networking purposes. You get to attend events in nearby colleges which is a big plus. The only thing I would like to change here would be the course curriculum and make it more industry-centric than theoretical. Campus crowd is pretty great and diverse, we have Vishwavidyalaya metro station around 1 KM from the campus. There are numerous scholarships applicable by DU, government. I don't know much about them in detail as I was not eligible myself. Coming to the events, since we are an MBA course, most of our events are business-centric. We have Erudition- The Annual Business Conference, Symposia- The Annual HR Conference, Reminiscence- The Annual Alumni Dinner, TEDx, Synergy- The Annual Management Fest, etc. Then we also have freshers' parties, farewell parties, case competitions, Diwali fest, sports meet, etc.

Delhi School of MBA- the latest D School for MBA.
Placements: Information about placement: Cell is good; they work very hard to bring good companies. Firms like Genpact, EY, and ICICI Bank come here. The roles offered are numerous, but mostly finance and management trainees. The placement cell works tirelessly to bring good firms .
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good at all. Although Delhi School of Economics has a good campus, the infrastructure of the department of commerce is not good at all. The classes have AC, but they do not work properly. The canteen is good, and so is the library.
Faculty: The college, Delhi School of Economics, has a very experienced and top-notch faculty. They are extremely informative and always want the students to do their best. The exams are a cup of tea, and just like DU fashion, they can be done from wherever. All is well in terms of studying.

Great for ROI, but Not The Best B-School.
Placements: Placements are completely student driven. Teachers are not concerned about placements at all. Top recruiting companies in my batch were Godrej, ICICI Bank, DE Shaw etc. The top package goes Upto 25 LPA. Although it depends on the year but mostly more than 70-80% of the batch gets placed. Our college does have one of the best ROI as the feels is very low.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities are very poor. No Wi-Fi, old labs and classrooms that are not enough for the current batch size. The library is okay, our campus has the Ratan Tata Library. The quality of food available in the canteen too was not Upto the mark. No medical or sports facilities on campus.
Faculty: Some teachers are quite helpful while others are not. The curriculum is basic and does make the students industry ready but is not very frequently updated. The semester exams are average in difficult, the questions are mostly straight from the book and not as much application based.

The lowest salary package offered was 1 LPA. The average salary pacakge offered was 5 LPA. The top recruiting company in our course was TCS. Around 50% of students got internships in TCS, and roles offered were to be executive members in IT companies.
Infrastructure: It was good and students used to have biryani every week. Medical facilities were available as and when needed. Students were involved in the sports activities, and every member of the hostel gets a fair chance to participate. The food quality of the mess was not good.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful. they were qualified for the TET pass, and they had good knowledge of Hindi literature another Science oriented subject. The teaching quality was good, the course curriculum was relevant. It makes the students industry-ready.
