Really a good college to learn and grow up.
Placements: Batch size of 2023 is 76. Talking about placement of 2022 batch, It was 100% with the highest package was 21 LPA and median was 16 LPA approximately. Student at DBE come from different backgrounds. Student culture here is very unique. Student are here very helpful both junior and seniors.
Infrastructure: "The environment in the PG is really good and people are really nice. " Room are very higiene and clean. Food quality available in the campus is very good. There is a very large library available in the south campus and almost 100000+ books are available for study.
Faculty: Around 90% faculty members are Ph.D. In each semester there are 7 faculty members for Andhra Pradesh 7 different subjects. Teachers here, are experienced and have a great style of teaching as well. Most of the teacher are available full time in the campus. Teachers are here from different ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

MBA in Business Economics - Batch of 2020

A great place to do MBA with excellent ROI.
Placements: Coming under a government university, the placement statistics on the website are genuine and completely accurate. If you come in top 50% of students in batch, excellent placements are guaranteed. Top firms like AMEX, Barclays, RBL Bank, Piramal visit the campus regularly, generally for analytics and data science role.
Infrastructure: The campus is too good with all top class and maintained facilities. Labs, library, canteen, parks, sports grounds, huge auditorium, etc. All are there and the campus has Wi-Fi facility as well. Even the hostels are fully furnished and hygienic with in-house gym as well.
Faculty: All the teachers are either Ph.D or pursuing. They are well qualified and know their subjects thoroughly, and use innovative techniques to teach the curriculum instead of conventional classroom teaching methods. If you wish to pursue career in analytics or finance, this is the place.
Other: The campus is well-equipped and very facilitative. One last thing to highlight, the faculty isn't much involved in placements and the student body themselves manage the entire process. But being a great brand like DU, recruiters are always eager to employee students from here.

MBA in Business Economics - Batch of 2013

The college is one of the best in the country. The placements and course curriculum are exemplary.
Placements: The placements are good here with an average salary package offered around 8 lacs and around 5-6 lacs at the lower end. The highest salary package offered was around 18 lacs or so. Many companies like Dunnhumby, Barclays, PWC, ICICI bank and others cam around to picking students from our batch. The placements were around 95% and major roles were in analytics, consulting and marketing.
Infrastructure: The greenery surrounding the campus area is ecstatic and can make you want to spend some more time in the campus. The campus area is less noisy and can leave you a little more peaceful in a chaotic place like Delhi. The classrooms can be improved as they aren't as good as are some of the other colleges but that's not something to dwell on much. The hostel is great and can be a haven for those immersed in books or other concentration intensive activities.
Faculty: University faculty is the best when you bring it against any other university in the country. The guest faculty are from renowned colleges like FMS, MDI etc. The curriculum is great too with it's dual specialisation in economics, marketing, finance & analytics. The analytics and marketing courses are well sought after by students all across the country. The analytics course is a one of a kind niche course for which students line up to get admission.

Our college provides excellent course curriculum and placements.
Placements: Placements are very good here as per our senior batch. The average salary package offered was 11 LPA, whereas the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course were Dabur, American Express, Barclays, RBL Bank, Dunnhumby, PwC, Arcesium and ICICI Bank. Almost 90% of the students from our batch got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, and there are well spacious classrooms with smart projectors and displays. Our college also has seminar halls and excellent and air-conditioned library facilities. The hostel is clean and well illuminated to provide an ambient atmosphere. But the food served in the mess is not up to the mark, and Wi-Fi facilities are also poor sometimes and mostly available to only hostellers. Cafeteria and medical facilities are also available inside the campus, which enhances the quality of life inside the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members here are limited in number, but they are well qualified and knowledgeable. For some of the subjects, our department has guest faculty members. Guest faculty members are very much helpful than the permanent faculty members. I am dissatisfied with the knowledge and learning imparted by the teachers as some of the techniques taught are outdated compared to the current market dynamics. Overall, our college uses a decent learning system with the industry-driven course curriculum, which focuses on analytics, which has a scope in the future. Overall, the course curriculum is excellent, and it includes weekly guest lectures from industry experts, seminars, fests and corporate events.
Other: The entire campus is lush green, and there is space to conduct sports events as well.

MBA in Business Economics - Batch of 2019
Offered by Department of Finance and Business Economics, University of Delhi
3.8

Department of Business Economics is worthy enough to give a try.
Placements: For the current batch, the placements are going well compared to our senior batch in 2018 where the lowest package offered was 9.47 LPA for the top 50% placements. The average package offered was 11.51 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 24 LPA. All the seniors got placed. For batch 2019, the highest package offered was 28 LPA, and the expected average salary package could be around 11 LPA. The top 25% of the students bagged a package of 16 LPA and above. Companies are still visiting the campus, and around 8 students are yet to be placed. In terms of summer placements, students of the batch 2019 suffered a bit. Not all of them got placed, but the highest stipend offered was 1.5 Lacs, the mean stipend offered was Rs. 25,000. It has improved a lot for the batch 2020 as the highest stipend offered is 1.5 lakhs, and the average stipend is likely to improve a lot, to be around Rs. 35,000-40,000. As of now, all the students of batch 2020 have been placed. We do have a decent number of companies visiting our campus for final placements as well as summer placements. Dunhummby, Barclays, Arcesium, DE Shaw, PWC, KPMG, Axis Bank, Schindler Electric, EXL, American Express, ANZ, WNS, Cians, Bira, Amul, At Kearney, Nielsen, Euro Monitor, Gartner, Cushman and Wakefield, Piramal, Byju's and Rubique to name a few. Many promising startups also visited the campus. The only thing which is little disheartening is that until 2019, we had startups for summer placements though we have big brands for final placements, the good news is the scenario has been changed drastically this year. Many big brands visited the campus for summer placements. All the placements related activities and corporate communications are managed by the student body only.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, I would rate it average because it's not a residential programme and only a few seats are available for MBA students in the university hostel, that too for non-NCR candidates. Around 16-18 hostels are allocated purely on the basis of conversion of calls irrespective of the distance from home town. Later in the second year, it is purely based on merit. Therefore, it becomes hectic for those who commute daily and during group assignments or projects. Apart from that, classrooms are old fashioned, and the quality of classrooms is not up to the mark. Rest assured, everything from the library to medical facilities is awesome.
Faculty: Permanent faculty members and the guest faculty members are highly qualified in their respective fields. They are available at all times and are very helpful except a few. The teaching quality is above average. Mostly, the subjects are technical involving basic econometrics to advanced econometrics. Hence, a deeper understanding of maths is required. Therefore, there is no scope of case studies. We do have case studies in the subject of organisational behaviour, marketing and others. For technical subjects, students are asked to make projects on each course that they audit. One of the prerequisites for getting admission in this college is that one must be pursued maths in their 12th standard. Regarding curriculum, it is the most demanding and apt for those who want to make a career in analytics fin-tech or market research. This course provides dual specialisation in marketing, finance, and economics. There are several clubs and committees managed by the student body. The corporate communication cell takes care of industry exposure where we invite VPs, directors and heads of particular division for guest lectures every Thursday, where they share their valuable experience with the students and explain the current industry trend.
Other: The campus crowd has mostly freshers and that too engineers majorly. Since most of the subjects are technical, commerce students find it a bit difficult to cope up. On top of that, it is pretty tough to score more than 60%, and we do get a lot of backlogs which is an exception for MBA colleges. The campus is connected to Durga Bai Deshmukh South Campus. The college is just a 10-minute walk from the back gate of the pink line metro station.

You should have at least a bachelors degree to pursue this course. Subjects in 12th don't matter much. You are certainly eligible for this program assuming you have done bachelors.
