Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology: a great place to get knowledge.

Placements: There were 97 students in my batch, and about 23 were in different institutions and laboratories. The highest package was INR 25,000 for a student selected in a laboratory. And there were a huge number of students selected for summer internships at the biotech park in Lucknow. I myself also got the opportunity to work as an online intern at CSIR-NEIST.

I am not satisfied with our college because of placements.

Placements: Our college offers placement to only some students at the graduation level and that too in sales and lab assistance.

It is a poor college for undergraduate courses.

Placements: Placements in our college were poor. None of the major companies visited the campus for placements. Most of the students go unplaced. Placements were only offered to the engineering students and that too only for the computer science engineering branch. Placement opportunities were provided through pool campus drives.

Overall, the college is a good place to study.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Students with good knowledge are placed in good companies with good salaries. Mostly companies with marketing workforce visit our college. Our senior batch students have been placed in good companies. The average package offered is around 2-3 lacs per annum.

Please, join our college.

Placements: 55% of students were placed in my course. 2 to 5.5 Lacs are the lower and the highest package offered by the company of our course. Cipla and Sunshine are the company that gives the best placement with heavy packages and full agreement.

It provides good placements and facilities.

Placements: Around 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs 50,000 per month. The average salary offered was 1 LPA. The top medical companies and hospitals visit our campus for recruitment. Almost 80% of students got internships, and top roles were offered in this course.

My college has good faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: Roles like doing work in pharmaceutical companies, work in medical fields like hospitals and in laboratory as a scientists, there is so much scope of biotechnology in every field of life. We could also become professors after doing NET and we can also work as teachers in reputed colleges and universities.

I am not satisfied with the placements provided by the college.

Placements: None of the students got placed from college. The college doesn't have tie-ups with any companies. Institute doesn't provide internship programs with no collabrations with any companies. Lab technician was the top role offered because its only a bachelors degree. As there were no placements, no salary packages were offered.
