Admission criteria for this course is merit-based and candidates must have at least three years of work experience along with a valid score in the entrance exam conducted by Savitribai Phule Pune University. PUMBA cutoff 2023 for MBA, the minimum cutoff in MAH CET CAP Round 1 was 98.85 Percentile, while the closing cutoff stood at 99.99 Percentile for the General category students. So, going as per the last year cutoff, it is not possible to get into PUMBA at 92.02 Percentile. However, the university considers various other entrance exams like CAT, MAT and CMAT. For CAT, candidates must have an overall percentile of 85, for MAT it is 80 Percentile and for CMAT it is 95 Percentile. In case MHT CET scores are not getting the candidate into PUMBA, then they can apply through any of the other entrance exams. The aforementioned cutoffs are based on previous years and can be anticipated as future cutoffs. 

PUMBA offers Master of Business Administration through various National-level and state-level exams inlcuding CAT,  CMAT,  MAT,  ATMA and MAH CET MBA to fulfil the eligibility criteria for final admission rounds. The university considers CAT cutoff for admission only for students who have a valid score. Candidates not meeting the cutoff are not considered for the further admission process.

For CAT, candidates must have an overall percentile of 85. Hence, General category candidates with 86 Percentile and above in CAT exam do stand a chance to get a seat in PUMBA.
