The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks in Total and also have Mathematics as a subject in the qualifying examination then it was eligible to be admission. 

The admission criteria for DBUU BSc is merit-based. The University shortlists candidates based on their class 12 scores.
