Review of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University.

Placements: Only a few students get placed, typically those who are really good in academics as well as co-curricular activities. The average package lies between 3 to 4 LPA. Random companies come for placement, some within the state and others from Noida and surrounding areas. Internships are compulsory for all students. The first internship will be a social/NGO internship, and the second one will be with a recognized company.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is on the average side. Classrooms are equipped with fans, a projector, and have a capacity of 70 to 80 students. Wi-Fi is available, but you'll need to visit the server room to access it, which isn't necessary because 5G networks are available. Hostels are below average, so try to get a 2-bed AC room for comfort. Mess food is acceptable.

Faculty: Faculty are good, some are very cooperative while others can be argumentative. They will provide everything like notes, question banks, etc. The course curriculum is relevant as it covers subjects based on commerce and some that will benefit in the corporate sector. Semester exams are moderate—just study.

Other: The management should be improved in this university.

Absolutely dissatisfied from management rest other things were good .

Placements: 50% of students are placed in our course. The highest, lowest and average package offered in our course is upto 3 lakh. Students who score minimum 50% got internship from our course in several companies and roles offered by course are HR marketing finance sales digital marketing etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good in our college. The provide Wi-Fi, classrooms ,library and lab as well. The quality of our hostel facilities are good but not that much good. Food is not good but living facilities are excellent but they put so many restrictions on students. They provide medical facilities and canteen as well.

Faculty: All teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Our teacher helps us very much in our course and everything. The curriculum of our coal is not that much good, it does not make us industry ready. Semesters are not that much difficult, you just have to study properly. The passing percentage is 50%.

Placements: Percent of Students Placed: Approximately 25%. The highest, lowest, and average package: 6 LPA, 2.5 LPA, and 3.5 LPA, respectively. Top Recruiting Companies: There were only startup companies. Percent of Students with Internships: Around 20%. Top Roles Offered: Business Development Executive, HR Executive, Marketing Associate, Operations Manager, and Financial Analyst.

Infrastructure: Facilities and Infrastructure for the Course/Department: The department is well-equipped with modern classrooms, a library with a good collection of academic resources, and campus-wide Wi-Fi. There are also dedicated labs and space for group activities and discussions. Hostel Facilities: The hostel offers decent facilities, including Wi-Fi access exclusively for hostel students. The quality of food in the hostel mess is fairly good. Sports Facilities: Basic sports equipment is available, but the range is limited. Medical Facilities: While medical assistance is accessible, it is relatively costly.

Faculty: Teachers and Teaching Quality: The teachers are knowledgeable and qualified, but they are not very cooperative. Their primary focus seems to be on fee collection rather than student support. For instance, students can even be barred from exams for minor spending dues. Course Curriculum and Industry Relevance: The course curriculum is relevant and provides foundational knowledge for the industry, but there is a lack of quality placement opportunities to support career advancement. Semester Exams and Pass Percentage: The semester exams are manageable, and the pass percentage is relatively high, reflecting a lenient evaluation process.

Other: Why I Chose This Course: I chose BBA because I have a keen interest in understanding business management and leadership concepts, which align with my career aspirations. Best Things About the Course: Provides a solid foundation in business and management principles. Offers practical knowledge through case studies and project work. Helps develop communication and organizational skills essential for the corporate world. Areas for Improvement: The placement opportunities could be better, with more reputed companies visiting the campus. Better support and operation from faculty would enhance the learning experience. Events, Fests, and Campus Life: The campus hosts occasional events and fests, but they lack vibrancy and student participation. The campus crowd is diverse, but the connectivity and surroundings could be more conducive to student life. Scholarships are available but could be extended to more students. Extracurricular activities are limited, and more focus on sports and cultural events would improve overall student engagement.

University on the mountains .

Placements: College placements are on average according to the BBA course. If you get an offer, it will be around 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Many companies do visit the university campus, and it keeps changing. You have to do one social internship after the 1st year and one industry internship after the 2nd year.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also good. Electricity is available, projectors are available, and drinking water is available. The university is 19 to 20 km away from Dehradun Clock Tower. Classrooms are big, with 60 to 70 students residing in one batch, but 40 to 50 are present constantly.

Faculty: Teachers are quite good. They teach according to the syllabus and explain what the important factors are. Two assignments and two class tests are taken in each semester. The teaching quality is acceptable. Exams are not so difficult; you have to just study. Things are not complicated; it’s just theory and numericals.

How is Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University?

Placements: Very average placement; companies do visit, and you have to register for it. The main problem is that students are underconfident to apply and give interviews. Faculties are helpful during the placement. The average salary is 3 to 4 LPA, which is good as a starter package.

Infrastructure: Average infrastructure; if your main focus is infrastructure, then consider any other colleges such as Graphic Era, UPES, or Uttaranchal University. Hostel conditions are not so good; for 2 people, a small room is provided with an attached bathroom. I was personally shocked when I visited one of my friends and had a sad feeling because of where they are living, particularly adjusting.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are not so good, especially in BBA 3rd semester, but you don't have to worry about it because faculties change very frequently in this college. Only a few teachers are good at what they are teaching and give 100 percent. The course is related to the BBA course.

Other: The management of the university should be improved along with the bus facilities.
