    Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: The placement is what every student aims for and works really hard during the course in the institute. This institute has no solid and structured placement team. It doesn't even have a placement plan, agenda or any strict rules and policies. Because of this, the institute has no value in the industry. No company visits the campus to offer placements. Hardly, 5 students from my batch of 38 were placed. On complaining to the faculty, dean and director, they just said 'we tried'.
Infrastructure: All the modern infrastructure is made available to lure the students. Everything looks good from outside. The IT lab has Apple computers, but every PC has some or the other issue. The library is smaller than the regular classrooms. The canteen is disoriented and does not have a healthy menu for students. My class was given 2 days a week to practice sports on the turf. But, during the free time, we were not even allowed to walk on the turf, as if we are outsiders.
Faculty: The only positive points I've found about the college is its faculty. The visiting faculty are really good and experienced. They share a lot of industry insights with the students. The course curriculum is up-to-date. However, we didn't get a lot of practical learning for digital marketing, which is a must for every aspiring marketer.
Other: Overall, I don't think a student paying 6 Lacs for this institution is not worthy.

Other: Devi Prasad Goenka Management Institute of Media, commonly known as DGMC is one of the finest Media College in the Mumbai Suburbs. The College comprises of an astonishing Infrastructure. The IT lab Has MacBook Air for coping up with the technology. A fully centralized college with ceiling mounted speakers and wide LED screen with audio/visual Feature. A separate Class for Filming/ Dubbing / Sound Engineering. The college is completely under CCTV surveillance to avoid ambiguity. First Floor is especially for Administrative purposes. The Teachers’ emphasis more on Practical learning. Mtv, Neo Sports, Utv pictures, Balaji Telefilms are few names which have given placement and internships to their students. Separate Astro Turf Ground for the students. Major Con: Shared Canteen with other colleges in the campus

Q:   Is MBA at DGMC better than S K Somaiya College?

    A:

DGMC and S K Somaiya College are both well-known institutions for MBA programs. However, it is difficult to compare the two colleges based on the limited information available online.

It is important to consider several factors such as course curriculum, faculty, placements, facilities, and other criteria before making a decision. I suggest you research more about both colleges and their MBA programs, and then make an informed decision based on your preferences and career goals.

But after comparing all parameters DGMC has better MBA course than SK
