Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering (DACE) is a private engineering institute, established in 2002 under the aegis of the Ayyanavaram Educational Trust (AET). DACE is an affiliate of Anna University and is recognised by AICTE and UGC. NAAC has accredited the institute with an 'A+' grade and is an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution. Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering has signed numerous MoUs nationally and internationally, enhancing student opportunities for learning and research such as the prestigious Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE), the Republic of Maldives and Friendship Association of India-Maldives, Max Solar R.S.S Manian, GEONIX consultant, Priya Electricals, ALPHA CADD and Mosook Training Centre of Saudi Arabia.
Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering offers a diverse range of Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the discipline of Engineering and Business Administration. Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering admission is based on marks obtained by a candidate in the previous yearโs exam. DACE is also approved to admit NRI and Foreign students and is UGC and MHRD-recognised. The DACE annual fees for BTech/ BE and MBA programmes are approximately INR 1.8 lakh to INR 2 lakh. The Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering campus spreads across 30 acres of land. DACE offers several facilities for its students. The facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, well-furnished rooms and spacious classrooms, and full-time internet connectivity. In addition to this, the institute also offers medical and sports facilities to the students. The other facilities provided to the students of the institute include:
- Library: The central library of the institute is equipped with quality books, journals and magazines of national and international level. DACE department has many sections such as the digital library, reference section, issue section and reading room.
- Canteen: DACE canteen is one of the most happening places on the campus. It is known for its savoury food, but it is also the place where students make some of the best memories of their college life. On the DACE campus, one can find two canteens at the main entrance and the back entrance catering to all possible varieties of food. Both the canteens are hygienic and well-maintained.
- Hostel: DACE has hostels for men and women, located within the campus. The hostels with well-furnished rooms, provide an ideal ambience to make residents feel at home. The hostels have wired internet connectivity. The Menโs hostel is a multi-storied building. A single room is allotted to each student. The hostel includes indoor sporting facilities and a common room on the ground floor.
- Bank: DACE has a Bank branch and ATM counter on the campus. It is on the first floor of the main building. Students can open an account easily by fulfilling the common requirements of the bank.
- Health Centre: DACE provides primary health facilities to students. The students also have access to the hospital which is also housed in the same campus.
