It is a good college but needs some more achievements like placements or extracurricular activities.
Placements: The average salary package offered is 1 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, the lowest salary offered is Rs 80,000 thousand. Byju's is the top recruiting company, and the role offered is a manager in various private banks. Around 10% of students get internships, mainly in study-related tutors like Byju's, Aakash, Mahindra, etc., as a marketing manager or as a teacher.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi is available but at low speed. Laboratories are good at a top-level, classrooms are good mainly ventilation is good. The library is also good. The hostel rooms are average. The quality of food is medium but canteen is good and easily affordable for students. The medical facilities are average, sports and games are good because Jammu University has a big playground.
Faculty: Teachers are good, well qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is dependent upon the teacher to teach but most are good and helpful. The course is sufficient for working in various industries as an accountant or manager. Exams are at a medium level, and the pass percentage is 60-70%.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in accounts or economics. The best thing about our course is that students can get knowledge about various business-related ideas. Placements would be better. Events like local culture fests, campus crowd is average. Connectivity is good because this university is situated in the heart of the city, campus surroundings are good. The scholarships are based on performance. Extracurricular activities are rare in this college.

It is a good department if you want to pursue graduation through correspondence mode.
Placements: It is a correspondence distance course. The university just provides the degree through the distance method, and the students have to find the jobs on their own. The department does not provide any placements through their own college or university. The course is good, and you can fill many exam forms on its basis and secure a freshers job for yourself.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the department are good. You can get any guidance you want anytime. It is a distance course, and you do it mainly from your home. We get some classes sometimes, and they are good enough to study this course. It also provides the study material for the studies.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are quite helpful if you want to clear any doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. It is a commerce bachelor's degree, which is quite useful for commerce students. Exams are easy to pass if you are studying at home.

It is a good University as it provides different courses and all the facilities within the campus.
Placements: The placements are not that awesome in this university as it is a government University. Only 10-15% companies of North India are coming over there. But still, I consider it as a good University overall as it provides different courses within the campus.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi, labs, medical facilities, hostel, food quality, classrooms, libraries, auditoriums, outdoor grounds, indoor grounds, games and other sports facilities are just incredible in this campus. It is having a great electricity facilities, securities etc. as well.
Faculty: The teachers and the other faculty of the campus are very qualified, helpful and knowledgeable in the campus. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. and they are very helpful to all the students as well as the alumni. The principals, as well as the other staff, is also helpful.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, placements and infrastructure.
Placements: Very few placements are offered in Jammu region as it lacks industries. Getting good marks in Jammu University is tough because the evaluation is strict. A few students got their degree on time and employed early. The placements are offered to those students who have good percentage in their graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is too good. The campus has all the facilities. The internet connectivity is provided in every department. Classrooms are good. Medical facilities are also provided.
Faculty: Jammu University is the best university you would find because the faculty are well educated enough to be a faculty. The teachers are very helpful in clearing our doubts. The course curriculum was very useful for all the students.
Other: Events and fests are organised in the college every year. The campus surroundings are very good.

Our college is very good in terms of campus and faculty.
Placements: There were no placement programs. No companies visited our campus. For senior batch also, no placement programs were organised. And there is no placement cell in our university. Only classes were taken, and after completion of the degree, we applied for jobs ourselves.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The campus is big enough. The library is there in our university to help us in our studies. The faculty are good. Although, the way of teaching is not that much impressive. Labs are also there for practical sessions. For sports and games, there is a big ground, coaches and gym are also available.
Faculty: The faculty are good. Although, the teaching methods are to be improved. In the college, teachers should be more serious while teaching. More practical sessions must be taken for regular as well as for distance education students. For distance education, no classroom sessions are taken, and if taken, then they are not that much effective and helpful.
Other: Events and fest are organised on a yearly basis. And many extracurricular activities are also organised.

Best for those who want to do both work and study
Placements: A decent effort is done by university in the area of placement and internship. But students should not expect any company to visit personally and provide a huge package. Only some job fairs are done time to time which give package of about 2-3 lakhs only per annum.
Infrastructure: The buliding is superb and everything is well maintained. It will be better if they allow student to use lift. About 4 to 5 big canteens are in university campus and it is super economical. A big cricket ground is also in university which is upto the international standards.
Faculty: The nature of the teachers are nice and calm except some old folks. The course curriculum is enough to gain information necessary in the field. But some books are difficult to digest. The difficulty level of exam is not so high. An average student who only study 1 week before exam can easily pass it.
Other: I opt for B.com from distant mode as it is super effect and recognised by govt. this mode of study also help those who do job and also want to continue studies. There are numerous events organised by Dde department which any student can fill. The life in university is super calm. Student who want to study from teachers personally can come to offline classes for 3 weeks.
