Q:   How many CUET exam centres can I choose?

A:

Candidates can choose upto two exam cities of their choice while filling the CUET application form. NTA will make the best efforts to allot the city of examination to the candidates in the order of preference opted by them in their CUET 2025 application form. However, due to administrative/logistic reasons, a different city can be allotted to the candidates. Choice of CUET 2025 centre city will be limited to the State of Permanent Address or State of Present Address only. In case, there are very few candidates from a particular CUET exam centre city, the NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities.

Candidates will have the oppurtunity to choose the exam city while filling the CUET application form 2025. Candidates must carefully choose the exam cities. No request for change in exam centre will be entertained once the admit cards are issued.

How to Prepare for CUET UG Chemistry 2025

Candidates planning to take the CUET Chemistry Exam must follow the given steps to prepare well for the CUET 2025 exam.

  • First of all understand the CUET Chemistry Syllabus and CUET Exam Pattern so you know what topics from Class 11 and 12 will be covered in the CUET exam and prepare a study plan accordingly.
  • Once you know the topics and exam pattern, gather the study material including NCERT books, CUET guidebooks, and online websites providing study material for the exam.
  • Now prepare a study plan for yourself and give 2-3 hours to chemistry daily. Make sure to add time for revision regularly so you do not forget the concept at the time of the exam.
  • Once you have learned the concepts, practice CUET Previous Years’ Question Papers and CUET Mock Tests. With this, you can know what type of questions are asked and from which topics most questions are there.
  • Now you can identify your areas of strengths and weaknesses. Based on your analysis, focus on chapters you have a strong hold on and leave out the rest if they do not carry high weightage in the exam. Check the CUET Chemistry Chapter-wise weightage of every topic you are covering. If you are weak in a topic carrying high weightage, improve your performance, by taking help from tutors, friends, or study groups.

  • Preparing for chemistry is mostly about learning the formulae by heart. If you understand a concept well then you can easily memorize the formulae. Use flash cards to revise them regularly.
