Placements: Recently the placement session just over here in DoMS IIT Roorkee, around 30 companies for the final placement and offered multiple profiles, the major recruiters offered sale and business development profile and along with that, we can see there is currently trend of data analytics in the market some major companies like Mu Sigma and Dunnhumby came with the profile of data analyst, and offered the highest package also.
Placements: Being an IIT, it is without a doubt that placements are obviously quite satisfactory. Almost, the whole batch was placed. The differentiating factor was that no startups were included in the MBA batch. All companies were brands and salary was comparable to any tier 2 IIMs.
Placements: The institute witnesses a surge in eminent and new recruiters including Amazon, KPMG, Bristlecone, Mazars to name a few. In the 2016 placement season, 53 out of 57 got placed, with 3 PPOs and 3 students opting out. The highest CTC has been Rs 14.6 LPA with top 50% securing an average package of Rs 10.24 LPA.
Placements: This year the college has seen very good placements for Executive and Summer Internship both. For Executive placement, majority of the profiles were offered for Finance and Marketing profiles. Most of the jobs were offered in BFSI, IT and Manufacturing sectors. Also, for Summer Internship students have got an opportunity in very good companies with the highest stipend of 1 lac. Some good companies include Google and RBL as well.
Placements: Decent placements according to your skill set. No dearth of opportunities. 100% placement. Roles offered varies from sales to finance to IT, according to the student's interests. All the major companies visit the campus and excellent exposure to the external environment.
Placements: The college offers one of the best placements in the country. The average salary package offered in placements was more than 9.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 18.5 LPA for 2014-2016 batch. The campus is beautiful with a healthy environment. The faculty is good, especially in marketing and operations. The placement scenario is also decent, freshers were offered good profiles this time. A lot of projects involve B. Tech and MBA students so the learning aspect is high. In a nutshell, it's an amazing experience overall.
It is one of the most prestigious institutes of the country. The faculty is very experienced. The exposure given is good. Overall personality development is taken into account. The Campus is very beautiful. The hostels are very comfortable. Lifts are there in the campus. A large number of co-curricular activities take place to keep the students involved.
IIT Roorkee has a 350-acre campus. The faculty is well-qualified and all of them are Ph.D. holders. Fees are very low with high placements. It is also located near to Haridwar and Rishikesh which are famous for rafting and bungee jumping places. It has various clubs where you can enhance your skills. Every year they organize two fests, ‘Thomso’ and ‘Cognizance’, which are one of the largest fests of India.
I am very happy to be a part of IITR. It has a good infrastructure, beautiful campus, and audio & video sharing sessions. The faculty members are very good and friendly. For MBA, it’s all about the case studies, which are done here on a regular basis. The placements are very good. The most important thing is that it provides best ROI, so no burden of loans. Thomso, Aviner and Cognizance are the major events which are held every year.
DOMS IIT Roorkee is one of the leading institute of India, The faculty members here are great and help us a lot in our studies. Campus is great. Classmates are good and seniors are very helpful. Being a centrally funded institute, college fees is lower than other institutes. Almost all big companies come for campus placements.
DoMS, IIT Roorkee is a next step for me in my career path. I am here to pursue the flagship two year full time MBA course offered by the college. A wonderful environment to grow and gain knowledge. The Return on Investment is very high, and at last, with a wonderful placement, thus makes total sense to be a part if this legacy. Besides, IIT Brand needs no more reviews, because it’s itself a brand which you can tag to yourself.
The college campus is the best. We have too much greenery, and no vehicles except cycles are allowed. So the air is also fresh, and we have the LBS ground that increases the charm of the college. Its lush green grass is too tempting. We have 9 boys hostel, and each of them has a canteen that runs till 2-3 am. We also have a gym in our hostel, in addition to the one in the Sports Complex. New movies are also screened in the Convocation Hall. So we have too much fun along with studies.
It is an awesome college with an amazing campus and is one on the best in India. Though the place Roorkee has nothing interesting to do, the campus is itself self-sufficient to provide you everything you need to live and enjoy. If you are planning for an MBA go for DOMS, IIT Roorkee. Amazing campus with lots of hangout places. Best is, it is a low fee college with great return advantages. Average salary is 8.5 and highest 20 LPA. DOMS offer specialization in 5 domains i.e. finance, marketing, HR, operations and information tech., one can have dual specialization from here.

The college is great. The faculty is great and the guest lecturers are one of the best from the industry. There a lot of societies - sports, music or theater..you name it. You can learn a foreign language too, if you are so inclined. Apart from running around because of the hectic schedule,the students learn to develop their personalities through the many events they get to organize and participate in .

Placements: The placements for our batch and seniors are up to the level. Many reputed companies visited the college and recruited the students. There is a separate placement committee, and this deals with all the placements. There are approximately 80% of the students who got placed.
