The college has above average ratings.

Placements: The placements are not at all good. They provided only 3 major companies with a placement opportunity and rest of the companies they brought are BPO kind of companies. We got 3 major companies like L&T, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini in these also selected students are working under tech support profiles only.

I am satisfied from the education department side, but not with the management/administrative side.

Placements: The placements on the campus are good. The previous 2016, it was 70%, this year it went down to 51%. This year, the lowest package offered was 1.7 LPA, and the highest was 3 LPA. The companies which visit our college Just pay, Indian Navy, Capgemini, Alpha9, Westland, and some consultancy companies, etc. According to the notice board, 50 small companies visit our college. I got to know this from my seniors, and they told me that the company put the freshers to analysis department then they slowl...

Review about Don Bosco institute of technology, Bangalore.

Placements: The placements are offered good during past 3-4 years. Around 200+ students got placed in different companies. Tech Mahindra, Capgemini and Bosch were some of the top recruiters. Regular placement training has been conducted and also alumni meet would be done for every semester.

I'm satisfied with the college and has the good placements.

Placements: NYC placements were taken place, where students can join a good company for their future work. The companies which are coming for placements have a very good place in India. About 65 to 70 percent student got the internship from the college. The companies are like just DIAL, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, etc., visit the campus.

Overall, DBIT is the the best place to get qualitative education

Placements: DBIT is one of the best places to study. Good environment for students and best faculty members. DBIT provides qualitative education. DBIT helps in developing the intelligence in all the aspects. Companies like L&T Infotech, Infosys, Wipro, Mahindra, etc. visit during the placement and 90% of the students will get the placement.

Really good facilities and a good place to build our future, this college is the best.

Placements: Our college has best placements. So far, over 20+ corporate companies are coming every year to our college. There are about 70% students of each branch getting placed in many top recruiting companies. IGATE, Tech Mahindra, HP, Infosys, Indian navy, NTT DATA, Microland, Oracle, L&T InfoTech, IBM, Tata Consultancy services , Bosch, APTEAN, HCL, Amazon, Mphasis, TVS, Siemens, PRDC, Mu Sigma, Razor Think, Accenture, sonata, etc. these are the companies placing each fresh talented students for this i...

Best faculty. Good infrastructure, facilities and good placements in the year 2016.

Placements: The placements are above average. The placement level in this college is around 46% in the year 2016-17. The highest package was of 4.5 lacs offered by LnT. The average salary is from Rs. 15000 to 18000. About 65% of the higher semester students are referred for internships. Indian Navy, LnT, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra Pvt Ltd, Toyota, Accenture, micro-land, Aptean, Tata consultancy and other companies visited the campus. Major MNCs and private sectors indulge in recruiting.

Good infrastructure with average placement.

Placements: The placement of my college is not up to mark. Very few companies visit our college campus for recruitment. Hardly 30-40% of the students get placed from college that too at a lower package. This year till now only 2-3 companies came and recruited 5-6 students. Most of the recruiters are from merchant Navy which I guess is useless for a technical background student. For our seniors till now two IT companies came those are Capgemini and Just pay. Capgemini offered 5-6 student a package of 2.8 lak...

This college is an absolutely waste of time and money, instead join a government college.

Placements: The placement in the college is only for the namesake, contrary to what is shown in the brochure. There will be no campus selection or any pool campus. You don't even get information about the pool campus from other colleges, and from their side, you don't even get any help regarding the interviews. There will also be a workshop for your personal development or the aptitude every year. When you go and ask about the placements, they will say only one thing which is "we are trying". Even our seni...

Quality education with inspirational thoughts.

Placements: The placements are good, and many companies visit the campus to recruit the students. The college provides excellent placement training. The training for placements provided by the placement cell is costly. Need to improve the placement department. No core companies visit the campus for placements.

I would recommend any student to join our college.

Placements: As per my knowledge, there are around 10 companies which visit our college every year. But the student has to maintain 65% in all the semesters without any backlogs. I have heard that there are more placements in the computer science department. The least is the civil department. I do know some of the seniors who have got placed in reputed companies such as TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college faculty.

Placements: The placement is not quite well, but if you study hard and make every semester count towards your studies, then you don't have to worry a lot about your placements. When I talked about my senior's, the placement percentage is very less, but those who got placed are in very good positions. Not only the Indian companies but the foreign companies also visit our college. Recently, a company has come to our college and has offered a very good package of Rs. 12,00,000 per annum. At last, I want to con...

Good college to step up for engineering

Placements: Good placements. Many government companies and private companies visited the college. They give placement coaching from the beginning of the 1st semester itself. So, students here are very skilled and they have been placed in good companies. For computer science students, lots of companies visit to place them. There are moderate placements for mechanical students.

A good college, with awesome teachers but the management is not so good

Placements: I actually don't know much about placements but I have heard from seniors that the mechanical branch and the computer science branch has good placements. I don't know about salary and all those stuff because I am not planning to join a core company. But as I saw last year, some companies like Tech Mahindra, L&T and Accenture visited. The management gives special classes for placements from the beginning of engineering and the college will take us to factories and that is it.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty. Good placements in 2017

Placements: I got placed in a good company containing a high package. The faculty members provided some more other placements from pool campus like they informed whenever they have a pool drive in other campuses. The companies like Tech Mahindra and all visited for placements.

Review of Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bangalore.

Placements: There is an average placement record in the college. Hardly 35% of the students get placed every year. There was not even a single mechanical company which came for the campus placement. But the CS, IS, EC and TC branches have a good number of companies coming in for the tech support and software engineer profiles.

Really good infrastructure and facilities with good placements in 2017.

Placements: 100% placements are there for all eligible candidates with a minimum of 3.6 lakhs per annum. Local and global companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Westline, Silver Peak, HCL, Indian Navy, Subex and much more held drives on and off-campus. Overall, there is a good placement record for all branches.

Average regarding everything.

Placements: The placements are not bad. But only pool campus drives take place. Companies like Techsoports visit for placement. Our seniors got well-placed. The students having a minimum of 60% are placed easily but it is difficult for the rest. Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, IBM and other companies also visited.

Disappointed with the placement cell.

Placements: Placement is not good and also not bad. If you have good marks throughout, most probably you will get placed. But mass companies don't come nowadays. Previously, Infosys used to come but for now, not a single mass company is coming who will take like 100 students at a time. So if you are joining this college be sure to get placed ASAP. For my batch, placement was moderate. Almost 40 percent students get placed. The highest salary was 8 lakhs and the average was like 2.6 lakhs, Via.com, Tech-M,...

The highest package was 7lpa and the lowest package was about 1.5lpa. The average salary was 3lpa and most of the companies offered the package in the range of 3-4lpa.
