Placements: Placements are quite less for the mechanical branch, and it is improving. We got more recruitment than our seniors. HR training and other skill improvement classes held for students were good. They were planning to make it an autonomous college. I hope that the placements will be good in the future.
Placements: They provide good placements to students in Indian companies as well as the multinational companies. The salary package offered to students varies, and it is approximately in between 4 LPA to 8 LPA, and it depends on the capability of students. I also got placed in Reliance Company with the salary package of 4.5 LPA. It is a good field, and this college is for career-oriented students.
Placements: Our college is the best for placements. A minimum of 70% of students got placed. Our college is one of the top ten colleges in this region. This college offers a vibrant environment on campus for students. The college invites various companies like Wipro, Bosch, Infosys and many others for placements.
Placements: They tell that the placements are good. Many companies come to college for an interview of the students, and HR training is good in the college. Almost 20 companies visited our college for an interview. Last year, many placements were done for most of the students. To get the placement, they give good training regarding behaviour and dress sense. Our Mr Srinivas is the best faculty with more experience and great knowledge, and he shares and gives the full information about the placements that ho...
Placements: When I was in final year (2016), only very few companies visited to our college for recruitment, out of those no one is mechanical core company. Response from HR department was so poor and helpless, they were busy just to make unwanted rules. Even after so many approaches, their response was too poor. Finally out of 120+ mech students, hardly 3 students were placed in some other companies in placement.
Placements: The placements and job opportunities are good. The college provides the human resources and development training, which is useful for students during the interview. The placement ratio must be 50- 60%. Some of the companies like Infosys, Amazon, and Defense-related companies also visit the college.
Placements: Well about placement our college in my batch have successfully conducted about 30-40placements which almost 300students got placed already. So the placement cell is good and top recruiters frequently visit our college for placement. And my seniors got placed in a very good companies like capgemini Infosys, tcs and tech Mahindra other companies like l&t other startups also do visit our college and recruit stufents.
Placements: According to our seniors, companies come to the college. The placement depends on your skills. 60 to 70% of the students got placed last year. The highest package offered was Rs. 8 lakhs per annum, the average package was Rs. 3.2 lakhs per annum and the lowest was Rs. 1.2 lakhs per annum. As per my experience, till now, Accenture, Capgemini, Westland, Toyota, Indian Navy, Just Pay, etc., companies came to the college. The students get offers according to their skills. One student was appointed f...
Placements: They won't provide us placement opportunities as provided on the college website. This year we only got few offer letters that too was some startup companies. They can improve by giving us more placement opportunities. They also won't provide any internship opportunities, and we need to go in search of internship which is a hectic one to do.
Placements: The placements in our college are like a mixed bag. On one hand, CSE and ECE students have a lot of companies during the placement drive. Good companies come to our college, but for ME and EEE, there are a few companies as the college is in Bangalore.
Placements: The college had 60% placement. In this college, the teachers are very good, and even management is also good, but the placement is 60% only. Sometimes, the teachers are speaking in Kannada, but now, we can manage. Actually students study have joined this college because every college has some minor problems.
Placements: It has been a good platform for the students, who have the skill rather than just knowledge. More than 20 companies join the placements held here. Hope I will get a good career after my studies. The companies aim at hiring the skilled ones rather than the ranked ones.
Placements: The placements are not that good, but for EC ME and CSE, there are good placements. Last year, there was a big drop in placement, but still, it is better than other colleges. I am from CSE department in Donbosco IT, Bangalore. The placements are not that much, it is average. The highest salary offered was 24 lacs per annum, and the minimum is 3 lacs per annum.
Placements: The mechanical placement was good until 2014. After that, there was a very negligible amount of students were placed in the core mechanical industries. At present, the scope for mechanical engineers has become less. Hence, one cannot expect placement in core industries like before.
Placements: The placements are improving day by day compared to other colleges. Placement department supports us by inviting different companies to campus. Placement opportunities are not only for students who have 60% aggregate but also for students with less than 60%. The average salary offered depends on the students getting placed. Compared to senior batch, placements for our batch are good. Only selected students will get placed according to the company requirements.
Placements: The rating for the campus placement in Don Bosco Institute is average. Here, not many companies are coming for hiring. The minimum requirement of percentage to attend the interview is 60% and above. Most of the companies are non-core companies and also ask money after hired a candidate for extra coaching. The minimum salary is 20000 to 100000, but company hires only 1 or 2 people out of 600 students. The placement cell is not good at Don Bosco Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
Placements: There is a placement cell in the college which takes care of all the placement activities for college. The placement starts as soon as students enter in the final year. They even give the soft skill and aptitude training for placement assistance to every student which I think is not there in other colleges. Almost 30-40 companies visited for on-campus placement, most of them were pool campus, and 5-10 were exclusive for college students. The salary package ranges from 1.5 LPA to 8.5 LPA and an a...
Placements: The placements in the college are good, and the students with good marks, talent and knowledge are almost placed when it comes to the computer science and the information science, these both branches are often getting placements. As I belong to the computer science branch, I don't know much about other branches. When it comes to the companies like the HP, IBM, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. they are offering more than Rs. 2 lakhs per annum package initially, for the students who are getting placed.
Placements: For the students who got CGPA above 6.0 offer placements for the students. On another hand, if the student is too excellent in sports, projects and other extracurricular activities. They even also might have a chance to get placement opportunity.
Placements: The placements on the campus are good. The previous 2016, it was 70%, this year it went down to 51%. This year, the lowest package offered was 1.7 LPA, and the highest was 3 LPA. The companies which visit our college Just pay, Indian Navy, Capgemini, Alpha9, Westland, and some consultancy companies, etc. According to the notice board, 50 small companies visit our college. I got to know this from my seniors, and they told me that the company put the freshers to analysis department then they slowl...
