Placements: I got placed in Samsung India Electronics. The placement officer Bharat Bhandari helped other students and me a lot. Our TPO is great. My senior batch students were not lucky because of their TPO named XXX. Overall, you can say the current TPO is the best, but it depends on you, how well you represent yourself in the interview and be able to crack it.
Placements: I got placed into TCS right away in the semester 7 of our education. It was a major breakthrough for me. Around 50% of my classroom got placed by the end of seventh semester. Rest of all also got the opportunity to get placed in the last semester. This is all due to a good active placement cell that the college has!
Placements: The placement cell at DBIT is no doubt, one of the best things. It supports the students even after passing out of the college if some students didn't get the placement. Many companies come to our college every year. They also organise seminars for students. Different WhatsApp groups are created by the placement cells to keep a student updated about placements.
Placements: The placements were not bad, but somehow moderate students can crack the interview and can be placed. The suggestion is not to go for the campus placement because it will provide the maximum of Rs. 4 to 5 LPA. Better to have some entrance and go for either further studies or some government jobs.
Placements: Being from the mechanical engineering department, the placements were poor. Barely 2-3 core companies visited, eg. Jacobs, ELGI, ABO valves. Other companies hire mainly for sales & marketing roles. The highest salary offered was around 5 LPA. Placement officer was useless, but I heard that the new TPO who joined in 2017 is good, and better companies visited in 2017. Around 45% mech students got placed but are unhappy with the positions offered.
Placements: Here, they first take Rs. 1,800 from each student in the name of training for placements which is useless and not of any use. That is a kind of business, and I don't know why and when we go for placements. We understood that this training was just a waste of time. Last year, 80-85% people were placed. It's about getting the basics right in the placements, so it's about students how they do it initially. The highest package offered was 7 lakhs per annum for BYJUs, and the lowest was 1.80 lakh pe...
Placements: Placements are very good, I mean not great but not bad too. All mass recruiters came and picked up a considerable amount of people. Around 60% people got placed in these companies. But there were only few dream companies that came in like TIBCO. The highest salary was 6 lacs per annum and the lowest salary was 3.10 lacs per annum.
Placements: I got placed in Carwale.com for the position of software developer. 90% students got placed and the highest was for the CS branch at 98%. The average salary offered was about 3 LPA. Companies- Infosys, Broadcom, Browser-Stack, L&T, i-Gate, Zycus, Syntel, Tech Mahindra and TCS.
Placements: Placements weren't that great. People placed belong from TCS, L&T and many others with good salary. The salary offered was from about 2.5 lakhs to 5.0 lakhs. Regarding internships, many of them got internships and the stipend range offered was 0- 8000.
Placements: The placements are pretty decent and especially this year, many companies came for campus placements. Most of the students were placed with packages starting from 2.5 lakhs up to 7 lakhs per annum. Core mechanical companies such as Jacobs, Pradman, Voltas, Mahindra Tech, Tata, etc. offered core job opportunities.
Placements: Placements for my batch haven't started, but placements for my senior batch were not so great this year as the intake was greatly less this time from what I heard. Available internships aren't properly explained to the students. Good companies come to the college but the intake has greatly reduced.
Placements: Getting a placement is easy if you maintain your pointer. The major recruiters are TCS and L&T. Many dream companies also come but for mechanical, getting a placement is tough. The college also makes sure to train students before the aptitude test by conducting some training and placement classes.
Placements: Well, speaking of placements, it has not yet started for my batch. But yes, most of my seniors are successfully placed in good companies. On an average (not sure of) I have seen people being offered with a three lakh package and the highest was maybe five lakh. There were no internships offered though but we have great projects offered within the college to work on. These projects have tie up with other colleges like under FOSEE IIT Bombay so you can work on them and gain a great experience! ...
Placements: 70% students are placed. The rest opt for further studies and masters degree. TCS, L&T and other recruiters visit for campus interviews. Software development and testing related jobs. Web development jobs too were seen. The average salary is about 3.25 lakh per annum.
Placements: As far as IT and comps branches are concerned, placements are pretty average with the min salary being around 3L and highest being 6L. LNT Infotech and TCS are the 2 mass recruiters which come. The highest salary for 2017 batch was 6L (SAP). The college provides aptitude training for all. Internship opportunities are also provided by the training and placement cell.
Placements: Placements were satisfactory. It recorded 100% placements of all the eligible students. Many companies such as Godrej Infotech, HCL, and other companies have vouched in the potential candidates from our college. The key companies have a huge role in the placements are TCS and L&T.
Placements: We had approximately close to 20 companies for our campus placement drive. Some well known and a few Goan startup companies too. We had recruitment drive by Persistent, IBM, Amazon, TCS Ion, Codilar, Decathlon and others. Among Goan startups, we had Genora Infotech, Umang, Anant Infomedia, Fleetrover (now known as Numadic) and others. The highest package was offered by Persistent that is 3.1 lacs while the lowest was offered by Umang at 7.5k. The roles that were offered were software trainee, we...
Placements: Placements are good. Many startups and companies like L&T, Infosys, etc. come into the college for placements. The placements in DBIT are on the well above average mark. Average salary is rupees 15 thousand per month. The faculty would be very briefing about the placements and help them to achieve as much as possible. College also provides internship opportunities for the students too.
Placements: Placement is good. 80% students get placed. Salary offered between 2.3 to 3 lac CTC. Senior batch had 78% placed. TCS, Wipro, Jacob, Sai Industries, Blue Star, Cactus were the companies that visited for placement. Role of junior engineer was offered. No internship from college.
Placements: The placements were pretty good with different companies coming for student recruitment. The salary varied from Rs. 1.8-3.3 lakhs per annum. The only problem was that 90% companies which had come for placements were IT companies. A very few electronics based companies came. So it might be the best option for CS and IT students but not for EXTC and mechanical students. Also, there were some issues with the companies giving wrong details at the time of placement.
