I have not experienced, yet but we see a company coming to our college for the placement like TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and many more. The highest salary which a student got is INR 12 Lacs from a Byju's and the average salary offered is about INR 4 to INR 4.5 Lacs per year and role offer is system engineer to the student. Total about 80% of the student get an internship from colleg...
Placements: This year, the mechanical engineering branch got one of the highest salary packages. Core companies visit our campus for recruitments drive. The average salary package offered is 3-4 LPA. Many students got internships in some of the best companies in and outside Durgapur. They also get stipends for internships. There are both paid and unpaid internships.
Placements: Placements for senior batch students were good, but for 2015-18 batch, I found better placements than the previous year. Moreover, I heard from our juniors that this year placements are great with good salary packages. Even placements for the B.Tech students are the best. It is among the top 10 colleges.
Placements: This is the best college in West Bengal in terms of its placements. Every year more than 70% of the students got placed through the campus placement drives. Well-reputed companies like Dr Reddy's Lab, Alkem Laboratory, Zydus Pharmaceutical Pvt. Ltd., Cipla, Abbott, and Apollo Pharmacy, etc., visit the campus for placements. The average salary offered is around Rs. 20,000-25,000 per month.
Placements: This year, placements in our college are good compared to last year concerning companies that have visited the campus. Last year, most of the start-up companies had visited our college. This year, core companies have also visited our campus, and the placement cell of our college has put in many efforts in inviting companies to the campus.
Placements: The placement of my batch has been very good so far. Out of 120 students in CSE department, 31 are placed in Capgemini, 13 in TCS and 12 in wipro, Out of 60 students in Information Technology, 25 are placed in Capgemini, 2 in TCS and 6 in Wipro. Out of 120 students in ECE, 39 are placed in Capgemini, 5 in TCS and 3 in Wipro. And there is still one semester left, with many more chances to come. Capgemini was the first company that conducted campus drive at our college, they offered job to a...
Placements: Our college conducts placements for the students. Companies like Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Asian Paints, and Kotak Mahindra Bank visited our college for recruitment. I got placed in HDFC Bank as a management trainee. After the completion of placements of our batch, some of my juniors got placed in HDFC Bank.
Placements: The placement cell available in the college is quite good, and it helps the students to get ready for placements. They will take care of the students regarding placements by organising various seminars and workshops. It helps us to be aware of how to get placed in good companies, and it also helps in students' growth.
Placements: I have completed my B.Tech from this engineering college. The placements in this college are very good for CSE, ECE, ME, EE, and CE students as well. If a student works properly for 4 years, then the chances of getting placed are 100%. The college provides placements in many companies. Approximately, 100 companies visited the college to offer placements this year. Many students from different branches got placed.
Placements: Placements in our college are quite good until now. With the proper guidance of our teachers, placements have been quite good. The placement cell works really well due to which the placements are really good. The companies which visit the campus offer a minimum package of 3.5 LPA.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students are placed. The highest salary offered was 10 lacs per annum. The average salary offered was 4-6 lacs per annum. Mostly IT companies along with some core companies visited our college for placements. Different roles were offered for various posts, and mainly software tester, developer, site engineer, trainee engineer, etc. roles were offered.
Placements: The placements are not good because the management never thinks about the students and increasing the reputation of the college. The management is bad. They only spend money on infrastructure and nothing else. Students can get placements if the management thinks about it.
Placements: Generally software companies are coming for the job offers. If you are really interested in instrumentation then my suggestion is to avoid this IT placement and search for core. If the students have good academics and understanding then obviously they will get a job. Now a days we are surrounded with automation technologies. And this is the main working area of instrumentation engineer.
Placements: My name is Pingal Mukherjee, and I have passed out from BC Roy Engineering College in 2011. I completed my B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation. Here, the placements are quite good compared to other colleges in this region. AEIE students can appear for both IT and core companies. The good number of companies visit the campus to hire the students, other than that the college also arranges a good number of off-campus placements to students.
Placements: Placement drives conducted were very good. In our batch, CTS got the first slot. Wipro and eventually many other service provider and product based companies came to place the students. In the core sector, Sankalp Semiconductor, Honeywell, Siemens and ABB were few of the big companies that came for campus placements.
Placements: Our batch passed out from the college in the year 2008. The placement percentage of our batch was good. The salaries offered to the placed students were average and not on the higher side, but considering the year 2008 as the recession year, the college did well to increase the placements to a higher percentage.
Placements: Most of the students in my batch got placed in the IT sector and core sector. Our previous batch students also got placed in various companies. Many companies such as Johnson Controls, TCS, Tech Mahindra, CTS, Capgemini, Indian Oil Tanking, Pinnacle, etc., visit the campus for placements. Salary offered by the companies was good.
Placements: Placement in our batch was good, I got placed in TCS from campus but later joined GAIL (India) Ltd. Many of our batch meet got placed in CTS, Infosisy, Accenture. Some got placed in core company like L&T, ITD Cementation. Some of our batch meet including me got placed in PSU like GAIL, SAIL, ONGC, etc. Through off campusing. Roughly around 90% of our batchmates got placed. Maximum salary offered was 10lakhs, minimum 3.6lakhs and average 5lakhs.
