Just the syllabus is old due to SPPU.
Placements: Currently, this year, there are 700 placements made with an average package of 4 lacs. More students will be placed as only half the time has passed, and our college guarantees placement, but high-level packages are only available to those who deserve them or those who have skills. Top roles were like software developer, but bigger companies are still to visit. Almost 55% of students are placed.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is too good. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus but only for laptops. The library is a place as it should be, quiet with light to study and many books for engineering. The food provided in the mess is good. The college doesn't have its own ground; students have to go to the medical college ground, which is close but still away.
Faculty: The faculty is good, with really experienced teachers. They have too much knowledge, more than needed, and even their delivery is good. I understand almost everything in the lectures. The curriculum is not so good for the computer engineering branch. I think it's old and weak; we should be taught more advanced concepts. Exams are conducted at proper intervals: 3 exams every semester.
Other: The college is in Pune city, the tech city of Maharashtra, so good for tech-related branches. The college would be very good if it had its own curriculum. Events and fests are frequently conducted. The surrounding locality is good and safe, just not much to see nearby, but the metro station is close, so we can access almost the whole city from there.

Good placement in 2024, decent Infrastructure, strict rules, and less practical knowledge.
Placements: I think the T&P cell of our college is one of the best cells in Pune. The average salary package was around 4-5 LPA. However, number of companies visiting our campus is impressive. Nearly 90% of the students who apply for placement secure jobs with good packages. Companies like Amazon, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, Infosys, Ashok Leyland, and Adani visit our campus. Our college has an excellent placement rate and provides great exposure as well.
Infrastructure: College campus is relatively small, covering a total of five acres. It houses a pharmacy college, an MBA-MCA college, and an engineering college on the same premises. Engineering college occupies three acres of the campus. Campus provides facilities such as a canteen, a library, and a separate study room. Wi-Fi facilities are also available on the campus. Hostel facilities are provided, but the hostels are located outside the campus area.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite helpful and knowledgeable. Many of them are PhD. holders, which gives them excellent field knowledge. Teaching quality is decent. Since college is affiliated with Pune University, its course curriculum follows the SPPU-based structure. However, syllabus is quite outdated. Industry has advanced a lot, but the old syllabus does not prepare students well for current industry demands. Students need to put in extra effort on their own to secure good jobs. We have two semesters in a year, with two exams per semester. First is the In-Sem exam, carrying 30 marks for each subject. Second is the End-Sem exam, which carries 70 marks for each subject. Additionally, there are 25 marks for moral education and 50 marks for practical exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue a career in the mechanical engineering industry. This course provides good theoretical knowledge and decent basic practical knowledge in the field. However, syllabus content and marking system can be improved. Course could be designed to include more practical knowledge. Campus vibes are positive. There are many clubs to join in the college. Various events and fests are organized every year on the campus. Crowd is active and engaging. Numerous extracurricular and co-curricular activities take place annually, including cultural events, tech fests, Shivajayanti celebrations, and hackathons. College also offers scholarships to students from different castes and economically weaker sections to help them pay their college fees.

Very good college with excellent campus & infrastructure, but the teaching quality needs to improve.
Placements: This year, almost 300 got placed. The highest package on campus is around 41 LPA, but some may have gotten offers off-campus. Recruiting companies like Infosys, Capgemini, and ConnectWise visit. Many companies visit the college for the selection of candidates. The Training and Placement cell also works for it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is far excellent compared to other colleges. The hostel is too expensive. It should be affordable to all students. The food and mess facilities should also be less expensive. The hostels in the area are too expensive for middle-class boys.
Faculty: Some faculty members are really good at teaching, but many do not focus on practical outcomes and solutions. The curriculum is far outdated. Semester exams are at a moderate to difficult level. The curriculum must be updated, and industry-needed skills must be taught to students.
Other: Because this course is in high demand nowadays, teaching practical skills and industry-relevant content is important.

Good facilities, good faculty.
Placements: 109 students were placed from campus. The highest package last year was 24 Lacs per annum and the average was 3 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies of last year were Siemens, JSW, Google, Wipro, Barclays, and Adani Group. Students need to find off-campus internships.
Infrastructure: Air-conditioned classrooms, all subject books are available in the library, practical labs of required subjects, and free Wi-Fi are available. Network issues can occur on some floors. Hostel rent is a bit expensive, but they have all the facilities a student might need.
Faculty: Faculty teaches each and every topic with details, and question banks are given before exams. Field trips to factories for more practical knowledge. The college is certified by NAAC and many more. All faculty helps with doubts. Mock practicals and viva are taken before final exams.
Other: The best thing about this course is that students get more practical knowledge. The college holds many events and clubs from which students can learn and enjoy, both at the same time.

The placement here is quite good, and facilities are good. Good value for money.
Placements: In our college, the placement for computer engineering, IT,aids is quite decent. Many companies come here for placement sessions. The roles offered are software engineer and associate software engineer. For internship, students are eligible to do it from the 3rd year.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the DIT Pimpri are decent. The college provides Wi-Fi facility to students. The college has a big library up to the accommodation of almost 150 students at a time. I did not opt for college hostel; I live in a room near college premises. The sports facility is good; various clubs are there in the college.
Faculty: The teacher here in DIT Pimpri is highly qualified, and some teachers hold PhDs. The course curriculum is relevant as it is in accordance with SPPU University Savitri Bai Phule University. In every semester, there are 2 exams in the semester for 30 marks and an end sem for 70 marks.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about this domain. More practical knowledge is to be improved. The college has various clubs like NSS, Yuva Maharashtra Devcraft, which organise various tech fests in the college.

Decent or slightly good college.
Placements: This college was much better in placements as compared to other colleges in Pune. The average package of this college is around 4-5 lpa and the median is 9-10 lpa. In regards to placements, it's not necessary to come from the CS or AIDS branch; it doesn't matter here. On behalf of history or DIT Pimpri, 70 LPA was the highest package in 2023 and it's from the mechanical branch. Placements are good enough for beginners. 95 percent is the rate of getting placement in year 2024.
Infrastructure: Hostel was very costly and had decent food quality. Actually, I heard from my friend. Although there are lots of PG and private hostels and mess are there. So no worries about stay and food. The canteen of DIT College was decent in food quality as well as in infrastructure.
Faculty: The semester exam will be conducted by SPPU at the end of March, known as the end semester exam. And a 2-unit exam is conducted under the university. The exam was a little bit easy to moderate and in line with the syllabus of SPPU. There are 70 exams in each subject and passing marks are around 24 to 25 . 20-30 marks are for practice.
Other: Actually, I'm in my first year of this college so I don't know about festivals and all but I know there was a freshers party held in college conducted by a senior; it was quite good with Dandiya night, etc.
