Placements and infrastructure are awesome.

Placements: Students who passed got placed but not by their percentage. Topper students get higher packages. Around 92-94% of toppers get a salary package of 6 LPA. Companies like Tata, Bajaj, Aptiv Component Company, and many more visit the college. Many students also get placements like I got but do not want to join due to higher studies.

Infrastructure: The library and Wi-Fi are good. A wide range of books are there. I don't know about the hostel because I don't stay there. I heard from others that the hostel is nice. The canteen is good. Sports equipment is available. We should bring our equipment. Sports matches and competitions are held.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The teaching quality is also nice. Some semesters are difficult, but not all. Due to teachers' guidance, exams are going well. Exams are a bit difficult because of the subject and vast syllabus. One or two subjects are difficult, but not all.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering because of my interest in cars and my choice. I wish there were some car-related practicals offline. They should provide more knowledge about cars. Events, fests, the campus crowd, and connectivity are also nice. The campus surroundings are nice. A scholarship facility is provided. Extracurricular activities are held.

Good quality of education.

Placements: As a government college, Y B Patil doesn't really provide placements. Being a polytechnic college, most of the students want to do engineering in their particular field, therefore, the college doesn't assure any placements. However, anyone who wants to go for job after a diploma college can get 100% assistance for placements but it doesn't guarantee.

Infrastructure: The college is situated in Dr D Y Patil Pratishthan's campus where 5-6 colleges are there along with Dr D Y Patil Polytechnic and the engineering college. The whole campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi and the college has fantastic classrooms. The computer lab is the most advanced with high-speed Internet connectivity. Every classroom has a projector and the campus is neat and clean. It has a separate parking facility and the hostel is outside the campus, but the college does provide a hostel. The canteen is good.

Faculty: The faculty team is very good in respect of teaching. They have ample amount of knowledge and skills. Their teaching style is very nice and it clears doubts. Teachers are helpful and also helps in project work. There are lots of chances of industry exposure because of industrial visits. The curriculum is wonderful.

Awesome from every angle. This is one of the best colleges.

Placements: Placements are very good in D.Y. Patil. Almost 80% students get placed. The package depends on the students and the company. Well known high profile companies come each year and most of the students get placed. The stipend varies but it is in the average range.

Infrastructure: The whole campus is provided with free Wi-Fi. The new canteen is awesome. Classrooms are much better than other colleges. Each classroom is well equipped with projectors and every needed thing. Computer labs, workshops for mechanical students are in awesome condition.

Faculty: The faculty is very supportive and well qualified. They understand the situations of students, and that's what every student wants. Especially, the faculty from mechanical workshops is very impressive and gives every detailed information. It gives you access anytime to do practice. Very great experience at D.Y. Patil. Just love it.

Our college has a good environment for students.

Placements: Around 40 out of 60 students got placed in our college with an average salary package of 3 LPA - 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college provided good facilities. The hostel was good. The food served in the hostel was good.

Faculty: Teachers and lab assistants were good. They taught us well.

Other: There are around 60 students in every class. Our college needs to improve the security at fests.
