One of the best institute for Chemical engineering.

Placements: The Placements of B.E. Chemical are very impressive. The average package is around above 4.5 lacs. B.E. Food tech has less placements comparatively. The visiting companies of food varies annually. Only 7-8 students out of 30-32 are placed in Food technology while the number is very high for chemical engineering.

Satisfied with the college but some changes need to be made.

Placements: The massive decline of placement in core sector but still has hundred percent placements. The average package remains around 4-5 lacs per annum. The placement for senior batch was better than ours as there was a recession in the oil sector in 2016 and around 80% students were placed. The highest salary 8 lacs per annum and the lowest being 3.5 LPA. The companies related to pharmaceuticals, designing, plants like Reliance and Vedanta are mass recruiters. No student was selected for the paid inter...

This institute is very good for people who want to pursue chemical engineering.

Placements: The placements in SSB UICET are very good. The average package in this institute is comparable to lower than IIT and BITS Hyderabad. Here the average package goes around 5-6 LPA. Many highly reputed companies like UOP, Honeywell, Reliance, etc., come for the placements and offer decent packages. Last year the highest package offered was 9 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got placed from college interviews. Last year the lowest package offered was 3 LPA.

An outstanding college with low fee but huge returns.

Placements: Campus placements were quite appreciable for the 2013-17 session. Out of 72 eligible candidates, 62 were placed, hence 86% placement. The highest package offered was 8 LPA and the lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA. Renowned companies like Reliance, Cairn Energy, UOP, IOL, Chambal Fertilizers, ShreeRam rayons, Jacobs, HMEL, ZS Associates, EXL services, Akash Institute, etc. visited the campus. Roles offered to students by companies were mostly of graduate engineer trainee(GET) having the work o...

The second best college in chemical engineering.

Placements: The placement is average this year because of the maximum availability of placed students at just 11. But last time, the placement of food tech was at 94%. The highest package given by ITC of 7 lakhs and the minimum is 1.25 lakhs by Indian Oil and Products. The chemical branch of this department is at the top. Companies like Nestle, Cadbury, ITC, Vedanta, Reliance etc are visiting every year for placements. Overall, your placement is assured if you have good skills. ...

A good college with proper environment for studying

Placements: Approximately 80% of students get placed. In chemical engineering, the placement is more compared to chemical, MBA, and Food tech courses. The highest package is around 12 LPA and the lowest is around 4 LPA. Almost every student gets an internship. Internships are provided in PSUs, private refineries as well as in pharmaceutical companies. Top recruiters are Reliance, Exxon Mobil, Jubilant, Ingrevia, Vedanta, Akash, Byju's, Cairn, etc. For some years, PSU also hired directly from the department.

In this college, everything is perfect except placements.

Placements: The placements for 2021 are very low. Only a few got placed from the campus placements. But students can get placements off-campus. Companies like Zomato, Cadbury offer placements off-campus, but don't expect on-campus placements, especially due to the pandemic. Students do not get any on-campus placements.

The university has a world-class ranking.

Placements: Placements are satisfactory. Almost all the candidates that have the eligibility criteria got placed. Average salary package offered was 4-5 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was around 3.25 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 9-12 LPA, including all the other perks and incentives.
