This college is a gem in all aspects.

Placements: Since it's a government medical college, all the students get to do their paid internships after the final year, after which they either work in some hospital or start preparing for the PG entrance. You don't have to worry about placements when you are in the medical field.

Absolutely a very good medical college with good faculty .

Placements: I am a first-year MBBS student and in a batch of 200 students, 30 are from the all-India quota and 170 are from the state quota. After 4.5 years of course, an internship was provided by the college. In a first-year course, the total number of subjects is three, namely anatomy, physiology and biochemistry.

It is a good college and provides the best education, so I recommend everyone take it.

Placements: Our college is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra. In our college, a batch of 200 students is selected through NEET. We don't have a package as a doctor, but recently one of our passed-out students did the surgery on spina bifida; he holds the title of the first surgeon to do this surgery.

Review of Dr. Vaishampayan memorial government medical college.

Placements: The placements are good here. The civil hospital provides an internship for one year where we get good clinical exposure. Many students from our campus have secured PG seats at AIIMS and other top institutes in the country. The internship provided here is very comparable to those at top colleges in Maharashtra.

Dissatisfied with faculty members of college, facilities are well.

Placements: Percentage of students placed is 80%. The highest package offered is in MD medicine. The lowest is in MD radiology and average in MD biochemistry. Percentage of students who got internship 100%. Top roles offered in my college are MD radiology, MD dermatology, MD medicine, MS.

It is a good college, but it needs improvement in hostel life.

Placements: All students can join as MBBS graduates in various hospitals or can do PG. The salary package offered is decent, and it is almost equal for all MBBS graduates. A 1-year internship is also mandatory to complete the MBBS course. Almost 99% of students complete MBBS and join the hospitals in rural and urban areas, and more than 50% of students try to crack PG exams.

I am really satisfied by the college because it gives you enormous exposure to academics.

Placements: There are total of 200 students in a batch, of which all get into internship after the course completion. All getting the same salary. There are no specific placement by companies in MBBS field but you can apply on your own for private placements. After internship you will have to work in bond with government in which your will be getting 60k per month.

MBBS at Government Medical College in Maharashtra, India.

Placements: As it is a medical college no campus placements are there. Many students go for postgraduation. Many students practice as medical officers in government health care centres.

Review of Dr Vaishampayan Memorial Government Medical College.

Placements: It is an MBBS government degree college, so there will be no placements. However, there is a lot to learn in the hospital, which is helpful to prepare for PG. All the facilities available in Mumbai and Pune Quaternary Health Care are provided in this hospital, which is tertiary health care. But there is no separate superspecialist health unit, but the same health services are provided here. Most of the senior doctors available here are from metro cities with three years of experience. Really good college with good infrastructure.

Placements: Our batch was a good one. All of us got good post-graduation and now settled in good time. Some are settled in New Delhi and other in Mumbai. All have done post-graduation in good branches. Some are oncologist, others are urologist, others are a physician.
