Review about Durgadevi Saraf Institute of Management Studies.

Placements: The placements were good for the senior batch. Almost 85% of the students get placed. The package offered is 3.5 LPA. The companies are Raymond, TCS, Mahindra and Mahindra, HUL and Network. The company offer a manager role, which is a good post for the fresher.

Satisfied with the infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: In the 2016-2018 batch, students got placed in 85 reputed companies. The average package offered was around 4 LPA. Majority of the placements were offered to marketing students. Only three marketing students are left to get placed. Finance students are suffering in terms of placements as only 50% of finance students got placed till date. 70% of HR and operations students got placed. Many times, students are offered a sales profile irrespective of their specialisation.

More work should be put into finance and HR students placements.

Placements: Placements for the finance department are not up to the mark. Only 30 out of 60 MS students got placed in the finance department. Most of the placements come for marketing and operations departments. Overall, the placement rate is 60%. About 85 companies recruit the students of our college.

A college with a lot of potential, but lack of management.

Placements: The placement opportunities offered were decent enough with packages in the range of 3.5 LPA-4.5LPA. But, the standard of education is low, and students are not able to crack the interviews. Marketing students do get good placements with a package of up to 8 LPA-10 LPA. For finance, the majority of the banks and brokerage houses offer sales role which students are not willing to do.

Satisfied with the college but not satisfied with the placements.

Placements: The placements were not good. We average students gave interview but no further placements. Now we are searching for other jobs. The package which the students get are always not good as we have done masters in management after spending so much in returns gets the job with fewer packages.

Our college is the best in many ways, but the worst in some aspects.

Placements: Almost 60% of students were placed in our batch. There were around 90-120 students in our batch. The campus crowd was good. We started to get internships from the second year, from which we got good experience. The teachers are very supportive and understanding.
