Course Curriculum Structuring for B.E./B.Tech at DVR College of Engineering & Technology

Based on the statements provided by students and alumni, here's a summary of how the course curriculum is structured for B.E./B.Tech at DVR College of Engineering & Technology:

* Core Subjects: Although specific details about core subjects are lacking, it can be inferred that the college covers essential topics related to Information Technology (IT).

It is a very good college in the surroundings.
Placements: The college does not provide placements now, but before 2016 the college provided placements. Many of our seniors got a job in many good companies. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA as per my information. Top recruiting company of our course is Amazon. About 20 students got an internship at 20 different companies.
Infrastructure: The college does not provide library facility as now the college is seized by SVC Bank due to loan. But before we had a very good library and huge ground. Many students can play any type of sports on the ground. The campus is very neat. The canteen is also awesome. Everything is good here.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very talented. They had a very good grip on the subject they used to teach. Their knowledge is extraordinary. Their teaching quality was amazing as they are very much experienced in the same college for many years and taught many seniors.

It is a developing college in Hyderabad.
Placements: Placements in the college were not that great. Only 50% of students were placed while the other 50% of students didn't get jobs in any companies. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Mahindra and Mahindra, and many others visit our college for placements drives.
Infrastructure: Our administration managed to maintain the infrastructure in a good manner regarding a few aspects, and it has failed to do so regarding a few other aspects. There is no Wi-Fi facility provided here. Classrooms are not good. No hostel facility and medical facilities are provided here. However, labs and canteen facilities are good.
Faculty: Faculty members in the college were well-qualified in academics but were not up to the mark when it comes to teaching. Only a few of the faculty members have good teaching ability. Classrooms were not digitalised, and they only use blackboards to teach. There was not much industry exposure provided here.

The college is good, it needs to be more thoughtful.
Placements: The placements are provided in rare cases, but the government job mela is conducted here. HODs support the students personally if they are good at academics. You need to have more concentration on studies, gain knowledge and aim towards your dreams which really makes you happy.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure. The labs are moderate. The hostel is under construction. Canteen is average. The library is good, but still, it needs to improve a lot. Wi-Fi facility is not provided. One basketball court, volleyball court and enough place are available to play outdoor games.
Faculty: The courses offered in our college are B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, and MCA. The faculty are quite good, junior lecturers are not highly qualified, but they can give clarity on the basic questions. They use common methods to teach. The student-faculty ratio is 60:2. Industrial exposure is not provided.
Other: Fests are conducted every year. The scholarships provided are only government scholarships.

Not happy because of faculty's performance in the last 2 years. Good in physical facilities.
Placements: No placements in my college from the last 3 years. Before that, there were many companies visiting my college. The eligibility criteria for placements is above 60%. The highest package was 8.3 lacs and the lowest was 1.8 lacs in the year 2014-2015.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. AC is available. Wi-Fi facility is excellent with a 100-Mbps speed throughout the college. My college has a good library with nearly 2k books available. They are also providing transport facilities with excellent buses. Labs are the finest things in my college with all facilities. The college provides facilities for indoor and outdoor games. The college conducts sports tournaments to encourage the students for physical activities.
Faculty: I have had a good experience with my faculty members. They provide us with valuable information in both technical and non-technical fields. There are two types of teaching ways, normal teaching and digital teaching for providing maximum information to the students.

Not at all good. Not recommended. Please join another college.
Placements: There are no placements at all. Telangana Udyogula Sangam came to our college and all jobs are based on intermediate. Don't expect much from this college. Some BPO companies came to our college and some people got selected but till now there has been no offer letter. Also, mostly, companies like Beam Telecom, Reliance (BPO), Aqua Guard etc. come. Mostly the jobs are based on inter-base or internships.
Infrastructure: No WI-Fi and the worst labs. No equipment. No faculty and all the lab equipment are outdated or old or broken. There are no proper trainees. The library is good and has all the books but limited. No medical facilities. In sports, volleyball, cricket, and basketball are the games. Food quality is pathetic. No hostel facilities.
Faculty: The faculty has no knowledge at all about what they are teaching. They are senior students of M.tech. Actually, the problem is with the college. They don't pay salaries to the faculty. No one is ready to work here as a faculty member. But, we have some top professors who used to write books in JNTU. They will take one or two classes at maximum because they don't have the time.
