My college has a mix of good and poor points, and I can't express what should I share.

Placements: The placement is okay and not too good compared to other colleges. In this college, the last year’s batch had only a few placements, and there are no good MNCs for recruitment. However, this year, the placement training is good, and I think we may get better placements, although I can't guarantee that 100% placement will happen.

Pradeep's review of East Point Group of Institutions.

Placements: I am still in second year and my brother had studied here; he didn't get placement even if he had a high CGPA and 2 of them in his class have been placed and they were fired in less than a month The placements are very bad in this college. The highest package I've seen is 12 lakh per annum. Infosys is the top recruiting company. 2% of the whole college probably got internships. Assistant developer is the top role offered.

Enjoyable college in terms of college campus .

Placements: Placement rate is average. Big companies come for placement and offer good opportunities. Around 40% of students get placed during placement drives. The best part is it provides placement to undergraduates also.

Review of East Point Group of Institutions.

Placements: Around 50% of students are placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Wipro and TCS are the top recruiting companies. Almost 10% of students get internships. The roles offered are assistant manager, accountant, operational executive, quality analyst, and underwriter.

There is a low strength in the mechanical engineering course.

Placements: The college has a high percentage of placement but not high-paying placements. Most of the students get a placement at a low salary. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. We do not get many high-salary jobs. The top roles offered are programmer and manager.

I am dissatisfied with placement drives, poor management and lack of support for sports and games.

Placements: The percentage of students who got placed in our batch is very less compared to other years. Only some students got placed. The highest salary package offered was around 4-4.5 LPA, the average salary package offered was around 3-3.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2-2.5 LPA. We did not have a particular core company for our course, but we were made to take up interviews related to computer science or any software-related jobs. Fewer companies were coming to the college, and most o...

Review of East Point Group of Institutions.

Placements: Placements are quite difficult in our college. We have medical colleges nearby, but the salary offered is minimal. Furthermore, the internship process is 6 months, and facilities for improvisation on a professional basis is average.

Placements: Our college does not provide any placement programmes, and it only provides a 6 months duration internship programme which is also not compulsory. So, our college lacks behind at providing placement offers for students, which is one of the main drawbacks of the college.

The faculty members in our college are qualified and very supportive.

Placements: The college does not support the students with any placements, the college only has a role in graduating the students. The students get a chance to do a 6-month internship in the hospital which is run by the institution itself, which allows the students to practice their knowledge in real life.

Placements: 2016 batch, mechanical engineering. 1)5% of students from the class were placed. 2)3.5 Lacs was the highest salary package offered and lower wasn't described. 3)infosys, Toyota, Oracle, Tata were the most common companies offering placements for our course. 4)Some of the students were offered with high post, some for internships, and employee. 5)3.5 Lacs package was offered for couple of students fro the class, and the lowest wasn't noticed. 6) 4 students were placed throughout the mechani...

The infrastructure of the college is good but not many facilities are provided.

Placements: Placements are provided in the final year of the course, so I don't have much idea about it. I can say that not many placements are provided in the college. As the college is away from the city, well-reputed companies usually don't visit the college to offer placements.

Absolute dissatisfaction, waste of money and time.

Placements: Not at all good for placements. Placement opportunities are not available. Fake companies visit just to make admissions more feasible. The placement cell provides all required soft skills, but do not provide a platform to excel ahead. Placement was good for seniors but not for our batch. Management runs after money all the time.

Dissatisfied with the management and the placements on the campus.

Placements: The placements on the campus are not good. Only two to three technical companies and mostly non-technical companies visit the campus for the placements. Every year, there is a drop in the placements. For our batch, a few companies like Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Subex and Invade visited the campus for the technical, and else all were non-tech. There are no placements for the other branch people except for CSE and ISE and a few for ECE. Nobody got the internships from the college.

Placements: The placement opportunities are very less. They say that the placements are good, but there are no proper placements carried on. Only two to three main companies come for the recruitment every year. As per the previous year, some companies are coming to the college which is better.

Satisfied with teaching faculty, infrastructure, but disappointed with poor placements, management

Placements: I am a mechanical engineering student passed out in 2016. There werevery poor placements, so don't think about that here. Two or three companies had come but they were IT companies, not core companies. Overall, no placements for mechanical engineering students.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements, infrastructure, poor management.

Placements: The placements for my batch weren't very good, I am honest here. We had like 6-7 companies which visited us for campus interview. Out of which, many offered tech support roles. 4-5 (apart from prior 6-7 companies) companies were in pool campus drives. Our senior batch was more unlucky than ours because the companies that visited in 2015 were even lesser compared to 2016. In our branch i.e. ISE - out of 66 students, only 7 got paced. In the CSE branch, out of 98 students, 15 students got placed....

Don't choose this college. It will be a mistake if you do.

Placements: There are very rare placements from the mechanical department and there is no core company coming to this college. A placement department is there, but most of the students are going for off-campus interviews.
