Candidate must have passed or must be appearing (in 2024) in class 12th examination in (10+2) system only with the mentioned marks in aggregate and must pass in English (passed in both theory and practical/ project as applicable) in 10+2 examination, from any recognized board. Note: Candidates who have passed in Vocational Stream with the below mentioned criteria: a) CBSE Board: Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational Stream must be from the Health Care Science discipline. b) The candidates passing West Bengal Higher Secondary (Vocational) Examination, 2023 onwards, who opted for “Healthcare Science” under “Community Healthcare” Group must pass in any two of the following combination of Subjects : - Community Health Counselor (COHC) - Patient Care Assistant (PTCA) - Public Health & First Aid (PHFA) c) The candidates who passed West Bengal Higher Secondary (Vocational) Examination prior to 2023 with “Community Healthcare” Group under “Home Science” Discipline with combination of 3 vocational papers namely: - Community Nutrition - Hospital Management - Public Health & First Aid, shall also be eligible.

Male and Female, both candidates are eligible. Candidate must be a citizen of India and must be domicile of West Bengal. Candidate’s age must be at least 17 (seventeen) years as on 31.07.2024 i.e., Candidate should have been born on or before 31.07.2007. There is no Upper age limit. Candidate must be a permanent resident of West Bengal uninterruptedly for at least last ten years till 31.12.2023. Candidate must be able to read, write and express in Bengali and/or Nepali. Candidate must be medically fit.
