My happy moments in college.
Placements: In my college, placements are quite low. Every batch of students, only a few will get better opportunities in MNC companies. On average, nearly 6 lacs per annum is the highest package offered in my college. This is quite upsetting for every student in our college.
Infrastructure: The environment and infrastructure of the college is very classy. The rules and regulations are very strict compared to other colleges. Faculty and management regularly check with students on attendance and discipline of the students. This is a very good part in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated with Ph.D.s and M.Tech, who teaches in our college. Every teacher keeps interacting with every student and checking their daily activities and behavior in college and surroundings. We do have a semester every six months and midterms every 2 months in one semester.
Other: I chose this course because I have completed my diploma in mechanical engineering only. All my friends and classmates choose this course for gaining knowledge in the subject, which helps in government jobs and the mechanical field.

There were no placements in 2020.
Placements: I completed the course in 2020. Due to corona, placements are not conducted in our college. Apart from the corona situation, none of the companies shows interest to take students of the reputation of the college. There is no proper placement cell in the college.
Infrastructure: In the mechanical engineering department, lab facilities are very good, but the main problem is machines are a bit old. Lab technicians are well-experienced as they work in various state government or central government companies. There is no hostel facility in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly in nature, but very few faculty members are experienced. Most of the faculty members are freshers and don't have prior experience in teaching. The average pass percentage in the college is around 60%. Most of the faculty members complete the syllabus on time.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of the faculty members. However, placements are really good.
Placements: About 77% of the students got placed from our course. The salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month. Dell, Google, Infocus, etc., visit here for placements. Mechanical engineering, civil engineering and some other departments are offered here. If you are interested in joining here, I suggest you join. But faculty members are very poor, and they didn't know the subject perfectly. It is the worst college ever.
Infrastructure: In our college, there is a Wi-Fi facility in labs only, and even it provides limited data only. It is a very poor college, and in fees matter, they do not compromise. In this college, games and other activities are given more preference compared to studies.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful to copy in mid-term exams and lab exams. They will just teach you how to read and write. This college doesn't make students ready for the industry. It is the worst college in the world. I suggest you not to join this college and don't spoil your life.

Freedom in college is high, and the faculty members are very friendly.
Placements: Our college does not provide guarantee placements. If the college provides an internship, then you can join it. Don't expect the job offers from the college because companies do not visit our college and select you to the perfect job. You have to believe in yourself to get the job.
Infrastructure: The hostel is good. The infrastructure of our college is also good.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very friendly. The courses curriculum is good. The knowledge they provide for students is very good. Our college provides courses like B.Tech, diploma and MBA. Mainly the students should show an interest in studying, and if they show the interest, then the faculty members will help you. Seminars are also conducted here.

The college is average, and don't expect much placements.
Placements: Don't expect placements on this campus. No single company will hire the students on the campus. For computer background people also BPO placements will be available. So finally, what I want to say is placements are zero in this college. They will charge more money as a fee from people, so it's better not to join in this college.
Infrastructure: The labs are available for mechanical and electrical engineering departments, but they are not up to the high quality of a university level. There is a need to improve the infrastructure in the college in coming days as per the technology boom is taking place nowadays. Coming to IT, it is okay as we can go ahead, and no problem for the computer background people. The classrooms are good, but there are no digital classrooms in the college and need to improve it.
Faculty: The curriculum will be as per the JNTU college, which will not focus on it. The faculty members are just average and not that much extraordinary. Everything depends on the student because how much the faculty is good, but it totally depends on the student how he will study and all matters.

Q:   Is it worth pursuing B.E. / B.Tech at Ellenki College of Engineering and Technology?

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is it worth pursuing B.E./B.Tech at Ellenki College of Engineering and Technology?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's what we've gathered:

Pros:
* Good faculty members with teaching experience
* Relevant course curriculum making students industry-ready
* Placements are decent, with top recruiters like Wipro, Microsoft, and Amazon offering attractive salaries (average package: INR6 LPA)
* Internship opportunities with reputed companies like Paytm, Amazon, and BHEL
* Strong focus on placements and career growth
* Well-equipped labs and classrooms
* Good transportation facilities
* State-of-the-art library and Wi-Fi-enabled campus

Cons:
* Limited hostel facilities and no on-campus accommodation
* Old machinery and equipment in some labs
* No medical facilities within the college premises
* No Wi-Fi connectivity outside the lab
* Unhygienic canteen with overpriced food
* Poor faculty management and lack of proper guidance

Overall Assessment:
While Ellenki College of Engineering and Technology may have its shortcomings, it appears to offer a relatively good educational experience for students. The college seems to place importance on placements and career growth, with several companies visiting the campus for recruitment purposes. The faculty is generally considered helpful and knowledgeable, although there may be instances where individual professors fall short. With a solid course curriculum and relevant industry exposure, students can develop valuable skills and gain practical experience. However, students must consider the limitations mentioned above before deciding whether to pursue admission at Ellenki College.

Keep in mind that individual experiences may vary depending on personal preferences and expectations. It is essential to weigh both pros and cons carefully before making an informed decision.
