Overview of Ethiraj - Satisfied with the curriculum but not satisfied with other things

Placements: The college is good for commerce students. Companies like Deloitte, EY, Standard Chartered, etc. come for placements. However, no companies visit for the science stream. Even if it comes, the package is too low. The highest package was offered by Deloitte, Rs.35000 p.m, followed by EY with Rs. 28000 p.m. The post which they offered was of audit assistant. Student's intake for Deloitte is very less (10-20) but intake for EY is high. Goldmansachs comes for summer internship. ...

I am satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2016-17, good union etc.

Placements: The placement of the college was good. The students who have 60% and above can sit for the campus drive. The salary offered by the company was from 15,000-35000 per month for undergraduate students. Almost the reputed companies have visited and recruited most of the students. The company has offered core role as well as non-core roles to the students. On a whole, the college has arranged the best placements for the students.

Since it is a college for women, we have an added advantage of the freedom and to manage everything. That makes Ethiraj special. From the lectures to the fest, students organize it and make it a success. Thus, it remains memorable. Lectures are made interactive with a different learning system. All the faculty members are trained and experienced.

Our college is great in extra-curricular activities but not so great in placements. It is lenient.

Placements: Companies like EY, Goldman Sachs, TCS, and Infosys were the top recruiting companies. Yet, most of these don't have much to offer for literature students. Around 4-5 students were selected in TCS. We interned with Education Monitor, Emerald publishers, Hindu STEP and others.

Our college is good for education but needs to improve a little in terms of placements.

Placements: I am not sure about the placements of other departments. However, placements for English graduates are not very effective as only a few companies offered jobs, and those were also not relevant to the English. But I don't know about the current placements situation of our college.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Companies like Deloitte, Infosys, etc., visit our college for placements. Students who have a good percentage in semester exams got placed. Above 70% to 80% of the students got placed in top companies. The highest salary offered will be up to Rs. 40,000 per month and the lowest salary offered will be Rs. 10,000 per month.

An okay-okay college and the right place to have fun, bunk, etc.

Placements: Placements are okayish. Wouldn't say it's great. We get an average number of good companies coming in for campus selections. The highest salary is Rs. 4.5 Lakhs per annum. Our course requires a compulsory Internship of 14 weeks to be done which the college arranges.

Absolutely satisfied due to the placement.

Placements: It has very good placement opportunities. Moreover all the students will be placed in the campus interview. Other thing is there is no partiality in the campus interview that held in this college. Big companies do come for the placements in this college.
