Q:   Is Ewing Christian College (ECC) good for B.A.?

    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Here's a summary of the key points:

    * Teaching and Curriculum: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful. The course curriculum is good, but outdated, and could benefit from updates. (Multiple reviews)
    * Placement Record: Placement records vary across streams, but generally, around 0-10% of students get placed. (Several reviews)
    * Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent, with old yet charming buildings, a central library, and basic facilities. No hostels or canteens currently operate. (Several reviews)
    * Student Life: Campus life is peaceful, with opportunities for extracurricular activities and NCC/NSS organizations. (A few reviews)

Overall, while ECC has some strengths, such as good teachers and a decent infrastructure, its placement record and outdated curriculum might hinder its reputation for B.A. students seeking employment opportunities.

Facilities are good but there are no placements.
Placements: Placements are not offered in our college. We can complete only our graduation from here, and it is a sad reality. If anyone wants to prepare for a one-day exam or UPSC, then it is helpful for students. I would not recommend joining this college for placements.
Infrastructure: The college campus is good and clean. Sports facilities are available but there is no hostel. There is no cafeteria. The fee here is quite low as it is a government college of University of Allahabad. Wi-Fi is provided in the college but its speed is quite low. There is a laboratory in the college.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful. Students get good descriptive knowledge. Exams are difficult if students are not serious and they get a year back. Exams are conducted semester-wise. The course is helpful for both the one-day exam and the UPSC.
Other: I chose a bachelor of arts at this college because it provides government scholarships.

An awesome journey of 3 years which I will miss whole life.
Placements: There were no such placement for the Bachelor's course, but others were placed in other courses like BBA, BCA, and in Masters. Although placement is better in BBA, the average package is about 8 LPA, and in Masters course, there is much more scope. Also, there are many courses offered by the college, like B.Sc., B.Com with all subjects.
Infrastructure: There is availability of Wi-Fi, library, separate study room, labs are very good, and sports club, gym, canteen, all grounds and garden, and best availability of sitting. There are also facilities for water cooler and other, and the campus is very well maintained and cleaned, which you can see.
Faculty: This college is very particular through its exams and courses. Exams are always done on time and courses are completed. The faculty is very well qualified and experienced. I can say that exams are difficult and the passing percentage is 35%. You have to do hard work to appear for your semester exams.
Other: The college offers many extracurricular activities, like tours. When I was in my 3rd semester, I went on many historical sites by my department of ancient history. There are also facilities for NCC and NSS camps.

Overall if someone wants to take admission, he or she can.
Placements: The placement of our college is not so good, especially in my course, but it's good for science courses and commerce courses. I think this field needs more progress in our college. Most companies visit the college in the last year for jobs and internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is also average. We don’t have a lot of facilities in the college, but we do have an average auditorium and a good library. There is a hostel facility for girls, and we have a mess in our college where the food is good. The classrooms are well-furnished.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and very helpful. They assist with both online and offline material. Sometimes, teachers teach from bookish knowledge, while other times they use scientific facts. Semester exams are not very difficult; they can be easily passed by studying before the exam.
Other: Almost 2-3 events are held per month. Scholarships are given to deserving students, and extracurricular activities are also good.

Absolutely Thrilled and Satisfied with the Overall Management of the College
Placements: Hi everyone, this is Asma Siddiqui. Today, I am going to review my college, Wing Christian College. As everybody knows, it is a renowned college in Allahabad that offers a healthy and studious environment to students. A large number of students take admission there, and the college offers a variety of courses. More than 5000 students, including myself, are enrolled in different courses. Companies do come for recruitment, and I remember the highest package they offered for an internship was 30,000 per month. One of my friends got selected for 15,000 per month. Companies like Genpact and Mahindra offer jobs, and according to the records, 60% of the students were offered internships. Major roles offered by our course include website content writers, digital marketers, fashion designers, graphic designers, and many more.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure always gives a sense of British times, as this college was built during the colonial period and was once run by the British. The college has great infrastructure, with each subject having its own department and separate building, all painted in red and white. The campus is full of greenery with three gardens that enhance the beauty of the college. It was an all-girls college. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, and there are three libraries.
Faculty: The faculty consists of two teachers: one permanent and one guest faculty. Both are quite qualified and have a great command of their subjects. They are also very helpful and kind towards students. The course I completed really helped me understand the commercial world, including topics like the economy, inflation, and recession. The course is divided into semesters, with internal tests held every month, which really helps students boost their preparation. To pass and get promoted, students need to score at least 32%.
Other: This course provides a wide variety of career opportunities, such as teaching, civil services, and more. The best thing about the course is that it does not bind me to any specific field or area; it opens a gate through which I can explore my career and select the best option. Every year, the college sponsors an annual fest organized by students. A student council is present to resolve issues and help students, with a president selected through an indirect selection process. Sports and events are held regularly, and there are many clubs, such as drama, sports, and NCC.

This is the best college in this city.
Placements: The course I have taken is good for government examination preparation and there are well-trained and experienced faculty members in college who help with all the problems. From college for my course, there are zero placements because in arts, there are none from college .
Infrastructure: The college's facilities are well maintained and made available to its students. The campus is well maintained and very big; all the departments are on campus. There is no hostel at this college but all other activities are done there.
Faculty: The teachers are well trained and fully educated; most of them have taken their education from Allahabad University. In this college, it takes place according to semester and the passing percentage in this college is around 33 percent. And the students have passed semester exams for the future.

I have mixed feeling for this college life.
Placements: There is no such thing as placement in this college. You have to do extra to get the job. Companies don't visit here as it doesn't provide any technical courses. Also, one of the reasons there is no placement here is that the college is in a Tier 2 city.
Infrastructure: The college building is very old but aesthetic at the same time. It has old English architectural design. Facilities are provided here, such as Wi-Fi, canteen, water, library, sports, etc. There are no hostel services provided here at college or mess facilities.
Faculty: Teachers here are very knowledgeable, helpful, and well qualified. The course curriculum is old and irrelevant; it needs to be updated. Semesters here are very difficult to pass. You have to put in extra effort to gain marks here at this college, or just to pass .
