The overall review of the geography department is very good.

Placements: About 70% of students got placed in our college. The salary packages depend on students' work like GIS, remote sensing, urban planning, graphics, etc. Different companies provide different packages in different fields. These courses in geography prepare students for pursuing careers in academics, teaching, urban, regional planning, application of remote sensing specials, and national park service range.

The infrastructure quality of our UIET is very good enough.

Placements: The placement offered by our college is very good. In the 5th semester, the students will be eligible for the campus placement . Companies like TCS , Infosys, Wipro, HCL, etc. are companies that visited our college for placements. The highest package is 8.4 LPA and the average is 1.5 LPA. The score of students must be above 7 CGPA . And mainly my plan after getting a degree is that I want to get placed in Infosys at a high post.

Average experience as I had faced.

Placements: This university is famous for placements and has a dedicated placement cell. They provide better opportunities for students so they can choose the best-suited field for their career growth. My department is great and always motivates us to do something productive.

The infrastructure quality of our UIET is very good enough.

Placements: Here, the college provides placements to students yearly, and approximately 65 percent are placed every year. The placement process starts with a placement orientation that gives us a proper understanding of placements and how to prepare accordingly to qualify for interviews. They also offer smart tips and motivational talks from placed students.

I got placed, so placement is the best. I love the infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In our course, out of 31 students, 3 got placed, but the highest package was good, at INR 12.65 lacs per annum, and the lowest was INR 6 LPA. The average package was INR 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Federal Bank and TCS. Only three selected students got internships. The roles offered were branch manager, assistant manager, and system engineer.

The teachers in Kurukshetra University are very experienced and knowledgeable.

Placements: Almost everyone in my batch is well settled. Some are working as a teacher and earning on average 50000 per month. Some are doing research in reputed institutes like IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Hyderabad, Aries, PRL, NPL etc. and obtaining various fellowships like PMRF, CSIR JRF or SRF.

All the teachers in this department are well qualified.

Placements: University provide placement facilities to students but there are few companies arrive for placements. You would have to prepared for this placement so that you can get your dream job. There are 40% students placed in our batch. The average package offered by company is 350000. So you have to do your best and also do apply for off campus placement. Don't be depend on college placement. Company likes Infosys, meritech, and cloud analogy arrives for placement.

Our department is not much good in terms of teaching and placements records.

Placements: On average student should score at least 70% marks in their academy to attend their placements. I don't know about salary packages offered. None of the companies visits our college for our department. Placements are very much big issue for our department and also for students. Maybe only one or two students from our course got an internship. I don't know which roles offered in our course.

Dissatisfied because of placement.

Placements: Only 3-4 companies came for placement and those companies are also startup companies only 1-2 % of people got placed. For placement, we had to go to other colleges. And the package is also very less and that is also with the two year bond. One company is good i.e Daffodils.

Review of Faculty of Science, Kurukshetra University.

Placements: Right now, placement wing is not up to the mark. But if the enrolled student topped the first year, ONGC provides a whopping amount of Rs. 60,000. Apart from this, if students want to do internships in various places, the department is very much helpful in providing permission to those students.

There is good environment for study. There are good faculty, better placements and good labs.

Placements: Earlier, placements were very good. Since the price of oil is down, it affected the placements in the department. Here, most of the students (approximately 35%) can score a good rank in GATE exams, so they get selected in reputed companies such as ONGC, Oil India, BARC, Schlumberger etc. very easily.
