Good college for B.Sc. and B.A.

Placements: As this is a regular graduation, college placement is not that good, but you can get off campus yourself. Every year a minimum of 10 students got placed. Maximum of 15000 you can get by on campus. From the 5th year, you get eligible for an internship. Every year maximum of students choose PG courses after the competition for B.Sc graduation. In 2019 batch integrated B.Ed program started in which you can do B.Sc or B.A. with B.Ed in only four years. After that, you can get a nice teaching job.

Infrastructure: There are three hostels, two for boys and one for girls. Every honors department is a different and unique building. The hostel is inside the college campus with a walkable distance of 100 meters. The quality of food is average, like in government hostels. The hostel has a common room, a dining room, and a canteen.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified, even guest faculty members who are Ph.D. holders in my department of mathematics hod sir is a generous person who always helps us with the project and exams. These college conduct semesters by themselves and are easy to clear. All the teachers were so helpful that they even gave me a chance to take on the role of visiting professor after graduation.

Other: I choose mathematics over Chemistry and Physics as my honors paper because I love numbers. Our mathematics department lack some facilities like no computer in comp. Lab. There are so many scholarships that you can get here, for example, inspiration, etc.

Placements: The placement percentage for students in my course typically varies, but it is generally around 70-80%, depending on the specific batch and industry trends. Placement rates may also be influenced by factors such as the student's skills, internships, and networking opportunities. The lowest package offered was 2.5 LPA, and the average package offered was 4.5 LPA. TCS and Wipro were the top companies that recruit students.

Infrastructure: The department offers a good learning environment with Wi-Fi, modern classrooms, specialized labs, and a well-stocked library. Additional facilities include student support services, recreational space, and cafeterias, which create a supportive environment for learning and socializing.

Faculty: The teachers were knowledgeable, qualified, and supportive. They provided clear explanations and used a mix of teaching methods to engage students and ensure understanding. The curriculum was relevant and industry-focused, with practical skills, projects, and internships that prepared students for professional roles. The pass percentage was 90%.

A very satisfied review of Fakir Mohan College Balasore.

Placements: Above eighty-five percent of students can be placed in mathematics in this college. The highest and lowest packages are around 1 lakh to 7 or 8 lakhs per year, I guess. Nesco and Jindal-type companies often come to this college. Like seventy to eighty percent of students got internships.

Infrastructure: Very good faculty members are available in our college. And there is also very good infrastructure available with our course. And our department is so good, and we like it. The lab classroom and library are very high-tech. Hostel faculty members are also good and food is just like homemade food, very tasty.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable in our department. In some other departments, the teachers are so attitude-filled, and I do not like them. Yes, the relevant curriculum makes the students industry-ready. The semester is good and very exciting. The minimum percentage for passing is 34%.

Other: I chose it because I like math. The best thing is that it is so exciting, and we do lots of practical work on the computer. The classroom should be long, and AC should be there in the summer. The campus is good, and the surrounding is also good. I got only a state scholarship.

As the college comes under the government of Odisha, it is a typical government college.

Placements: In our mathematics, there are certainly 40 students. No company comes to us as it is not a technical institute. The teachers are very cooperative and humble. They always try their best to solve all our doubts. Our students are very cooperative. All the seniors and juniors are also cooperative.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available. The labs are available but not good enough. The classrooms are good. A library is available, but you can't get syllabus books. Hostels are good but not the best. We have a huge playground. Medical facilities are available as a district head hospital is 500 meters away from college.

Faculty: The teachers and our HOD are very well qualified and knowledgeable of the topics. The learning strategy is very simple, and everyone can understand it. The course has the potential to make students industry-ready, but as I said, it is not a technical institute. It has a very good pass rate. As the learning is very simple with the teachers, the semester exams go very smoothly.

Other: I didn't choose this subject, I was allotted this subject. All the things here are good.
