Absolutely satisfied because of faculty. Good placement. Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: I scored 73 percent. The highest package is Rs 2,00,000 and the lowest is Rs 85,000. I am glad to say that I have been studying in this college for five years and I have realised that this college is absolutely the right college for the students, especially those who want to study in a government college.
Infrastructure: The facilities are also very good. And I have enjoyed my hostel life very well. The college including the hostel has good infrastructure. The hostel provides us with many facilities that a student might need in his study life. So, in my opinion, the hostel is not only so good but also it is a good choice for the students.
Faculty: The semester exams held in our college were not so difficult. But hard work is the main key. You need to work hard then only your percentage will grow. My academic score was 73 percent.
Other: I chose the course because I wanted to become a lecturer in Physics.

Reality of FM Autonomous college .
Placements: There are no placement opportunities at FM Autonomous. However, some universities and research centers provide internship program offers during the summer vacation. You can appear in the IIT JAM examination for your higher studies in various IIT sectors. Overall, it is not a good factor for your placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is huge and old-fashioned, but classrooms are smart and air-conditioned. Every department room has its own labs. Food quality in the hostel is often not very good. Sometimes we eat from outside. The menu is good, but the quantity and quality we get are poor. Hostel affordability and registration are easy. However, if you want to rent a room or PG in the locality, there is a vast option from which you can choose.
Faculty: Physics is an interesting subject. The faculty members are graduated with M.Sc. degrees from various IIT sectors like Delhi, Dhanbad, Madras, and Hyderabad. The teaching method is poor, and the examination pattern is quite difficult. This course will make you half-ready for jobs. Faculty members behave like enemies during examination time by putting extra loads of classes. The pass percentage is around 92 percent.
Other: This course was my dream. The good aspects are that it's easy to get registered in this college and take admission. The bad aspects are that this college is not very punctual. Semesters, midterms, and practicals are not done at the preferred times. The cutoff for B.Sc. Physics Honours was around 83 percent. Fresher faculty members with much more potential should teach us. The availability of scholarships is an advantage of studying at this college. Here, you can get around 20,000 to 25,000 rupees in scholarships per year as per your category. However, the Post Matric Scholarship will pay you less than the State Scholarship, which is 12,000 rupees per year. There is also NSP (a type of scholarship) which pays 15,000 per year. There is also a laptop distribution scheme that provides 30,000 rupees for buying a laptop. Other categories like SC and ST get more advantages from these scholarships; they receive 5,000 rupees more.
