Fergusson College - The hometown to knowledge.

Placements: Basically, students of Philosophy hardly get any placement calls but studying philosophy is something worth rewarding for every student since it gives you the correct insights to achieve your targets in life. After completing Philosophy majors, students usually opt for Law, HR and Civil Services fields which give will surely pay you with hefty amount because of philosophy at your base of every knowledge.

Infrastructure: The department of Philosophy is the oldest department of FERGUSSON COLLEGE with expertise faculty which is always available for student's help. Without doubt, the Library facilities in Fergusson College is world class in addition there are dept. Library too from where you can borrow books. Classrooms are always clean and projectors are there in the Classrooms. College hostel has four blocks each for girls and boys too. Boys hostel has separate rooms for each student while girls' hostel has trio-arrangement in a single room. There are in all three mess with fine quality and three canteens with fine hygiene.

Faculty: The plus point of FERGUSSON COLLEGE is its faculty. They are really appreciable in there efforts. They are helpful people and flexibility among the teacher - student relationship is always maintained. Studying in Fergusson College will bring three stars to your knowledge.

Other: Choosing Philosophy is always a difficult choice since you don't get direct recruitments by having this degree. But, the deep reasoning you enough for you to fall in love with this subject. I wish philosophy people would get more placement opportunities. Fergusson College is totally an academic college where you will find less time for sport's activities, drama or other activities but finding tine from the busy schedule brings charms to your personalities. College fest happens in the month end of December and those 7 days are worth awaiting for every fergussonian for the whole year.

Fergusson College is a prestigious educational institution located in Pune.

Placements: There were a total of 66 people. The placements were pretty decent. And approximately 5–6 people from the total batch got the highest placements. College doesn't provide internships; as such, you have to look out for yourself, work for yourself, and rest. Everything was decent.

Infrastructure: Really good infrastructure, quite old and unique. There is a variety of canteens present in the college. The college has football and basketball grounds and many others for various sport fields like cricket, dodgeball, and box cricket. It also has a library accessible to all.

Faculty: The syllabus is as per the University of Saviti Bai Phule. Teachers are very experienced in law; however, they are not permanent, just for a temporary period of time. Whereas some are qualified to a very high degree and also knowledgeable about all fields. The teaching quality was good, and the notes were pretty decent.
