A candid feedback of my very own institute (Batch of 2020).

Placements: Placement season 2018-20 has been quite below par. Only one international offer in Oman. The highest domestic offer was around 13-14 Lacs p. a. the lowest domestic offer was probably 6 Lacs p. a. Average domestic offer was around 8-9 Lacs p. a. There were quite many offers of 8 Lacs and below. Close to 40 students remain unplaced at the end of this academic year. On top of that, students who were placed already were allowed to sit for prestigious companies again even though so many students rema...

Fore is a decent college but if you have one more year I would suggest try for a tier-1 school.

Placements: Almost all the students were placed, except for the people who opted out of the process. The highest domestic package was 20 Lacs whereas the highest international package was 30 Lacs. Top recruiting companies such as ITC, Deloitte, nestle, decathlon. Roles were offered from all the fields marketing, finance, hr, operations.

FORE School of Management at a Glance.

Placements: 1) The whole batch gets placed excluding those, who opt out of the placement procedure voluntarily. Same goes for Ships, every student is able to get internship. 2) Average package of the whole batch is 10.8 lacs, median 10.4 lacs, and the highest for the year 2018-2019 was 31 lacs (international). 3) As far as the recruiters are concerned, reputable companies like Philips, Maruti, Mahindra etc. All come for placements (more can be found out on the official website of FORE). 4) As FORE is fam...

This college can be improved in some areas.

Placements: Placements in our college are okay. Many students get placed both in the first year and the final year. Some students secure PPOs during their internships itself. Placements are good for the students of the marketing and sales domains, although many companies that visit the campus are open for all specialisations as per their placement criteria mentioned. Placement activities are handled by FCD, which is the students' placement committee.

I was not completely satisfied with the college.

Placements: We have a placement cell. All the senior batch students got placed other than the once who got debarred from the placements. The entire junior batch of 360 students got an internship. Maximum stipend offered was Rs. 70,000 per month and minimum stipend offered was Rs. 3,000 per month. Companies like Ernst and Young visited the campus.

The college is good in every aspect except infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in our college are actually good. Although people feel that FORE lacks in placement, that is not the scenario in general. If you have potential, you can secure a good package. Moreover, FORE has started getting providing job profiles now and is not just restricted to sales.

There is room for improvement here.

Placements: Mostly good placement opportunities are offered to the students of the sales and marketing domains. Only a few good companies visit the campus from the finance domain. So placements for the finance domain are poor. This year the highest package offered for our seniors from the finance domain was 4 LPA while the highest package offered for the marketing students was 31 LPA.

Provides opportunity. Infra and faulty can be improved.

Placements: Placements are good both for summer internship and final placements. Many companies visit the campus and most of the students end up placed barring those who have other plans like family business. Almost every first year student gets paid summer internship from college. Some of the companies that visit the campus include TATA capital, airtel, nestle, KPMG etc.

The college provides good placements but poor infrastructure.

Placements: Placements in the college are completely student driven as they are managed by the placement committee. The members of the committee communicate with the corporates and invite them to the campus for offering internship and final placement opportunities to students. The average salary package offered is around 12 LPA as per the latest placement report issued by the college.

Once a good college leading to downfall now.

Placements: The college offers a decent salary package in terms of on-campus placements. It offers a mix of profiles ranging from marketing, HR, finance, to IT, and strategy. Companies visiting the campus are amongst the well-branded organisations which provide ample exposure to the students. I am absolutely satisfied with the faculty and placements.

Moderately satisfied with all the facilities in FORE School of Management.

Placements: Placements in our college are average. The average salary package offered was told to be around 9.4 LPA, though not sure if it's the correct figure. The placement scenario isn't much attractive, and if one aims to get a high placement package through MBA, then FSM isn't highly recommended.

The college has been established before a long time and has a very good reputation in the industry.

Placements: Placements in the college are average. The packages offered for our batch are expected to be around 9-11 LPA. Since our batch is the first to have specialised in financial management, everyone will be allowed to go through the same placement process. Almost 70% of the students of our batch are expected to get placed. All the major recruiters like Darashaw, EY, KPMG, and Axis Bank, etc., visit our campus for the recruitment process. Stipends offered in internships range from Rs. 15,000-60,000 per...
