The college provides engineering degree at low cost.

Placements: Placements in the college are less as compared to other engineering colleges, specifically for ECE branch. Only 20-30% of the students from ECE branch get on-campus placements. The placement rate is better in other branches, i.e., CSE (40-50%) and MAE (50-60%). Major companies like Infosys and Maruti visit the campus for recruitment drives. Apart from on-campus drives, students get to attend off-campus drives which are organised jointly by other colleges, in companies like Wipro, Accenture, Hewl...

Review of G.B. Pant Engineering College.

Placements: Around 75-80% of the students got placed last year. Many companies visit our college in the starting of the fourth year of a batch. Companies like TVS, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, etc., have visited our college to offer placements. The packages offered depend on the knowledge of students. Sometimes, average students get better packages than toppers.

The best college for mechanical students besides IITs and NITs.

Placements: The Placements in the college are good. The average salary package offered was around 4-5 LPA. Most of the companies visit for mechanical students. Only a few companies visit to hire the students from the computer science department. Placement record of the mechanical stream is good. Every year, companies like Honda, Maruti, and Godrej, etc., visit the campus.

Good faculty, average placements in '14, infrastructure should be improved.

Placements: When I was in 1st year the placements were really good nearly 150%. Then for 2 years it was on downward path. Luckily, when I graduated placements were average with around 60-70% students placed. Minimum was 2 LPA and Max was 6.5 LPA across all branches with an average salary package of 3.5lpa.

Placements in 2018( 6 students are placed in Maruti) in MAE Branch. Infrastructure is not much good

Placements: Placement is good but few students are placed. Companies like Infosys, Maruti Suzuki, Honda, TCS visited our campus for placement. They will organise a written test, Group Discussion and Interview for taking the students for his company. After completing the final step Interview student get placed. Minimum percentage criteria for such company is 60% for taking the test.

In short, I'm satisfied with the faculty and placements.

Placements: The placements are good for students, who score more than 60% in academics. Almost 60% of the total students got placed in well-reputed companies like Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Infosys, Horiba, etc. The companies offer the salary packages up to 8 LPA. If you are good in academics and have good practical knowledge of theoretical concepts, then you will get placed in any companies whichever you want.

Proud to be called as GBPECians.

Placements: The placements are average for CSE and ECE. About 40-50% got placed. While for MAE, it is best in all IP colleges. Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Godrej etc. visited every year. The highest package offered in 7.2 LPA by Maruti Suzuki. So, whoever wants to take MAE, this will be the best college for them.

The education on the campus is less costly, and the campus is good for learners.

Placements: Overall, the placement of college students was good. Almost 70% of the mechanical engineering students got placed in more than 20 companies. Major companies for mechanical students which come in college yearly are Hero, Maruti Suzuki, ITC, TATA, IGL, Bajaj, Sriram Piston, BlueStar, OMAX, L&T, Thermax, ABB, Minda, TVS, and many other companies. The average salary package per month was approximately 15-16K. In the companies like ITC and IGL, the salary per month was 40K.

Not the best college, but this is the one of the best colleges in Delhi.

Placements: If you are from MAE, then chances are Nice. The companies like Maruti and Godrej give a nice package, but other than MAE, the placement is not good. For CSE, the companies like Infosys and Wipro are there. Overall, I would say if you are good, then you don't have to worry a lot about placement because the college placement is increasing year by year.

The truth of G B Pant Engineering College.

Placements: The placement of this college is not good. The package in the college is also not good. Only 10 to 20 percent of students got placement in good company as told by our seniors. The company like Maruti Suzuki, Omax private limited, ITC limited come to the college. The average package is 3 to 4 LPA.

It is a good college if you are down to earth.

Placements: Companies like Maruti, Honda, Rapid Metro, L&T, Tata Motors frequently come every year. These are like permanent companies that give placement, and besides these, many more small and big companies come for placements. In 2016, approximately out of 60 students, 25 to 28 students are placed. One of the best things about training and placement officer is he creates a WhatsApp group and after the college is over, he informs about who are not placed shall come on this date to a particular company vis...

Good placement but slightly lower crowded.

Placements: There are good placements. It is the top college after Ambala in North India, regarding the placement. Very good placement techniques are taught. Good companies like Honda, Maruti etc. come to this institute. It is best polytechnic college in whole over India.

There are good teachers and environment. Build yourself with their support and freedom.

Placements: Placements in our college are not reliable. According to our training and placement head, the performance of students in placement exams (written and interview) had been decreasing. Earlier 40 to 45 students were able to crack the interview. Now, barely 4 to 5 students could even pass the written exam. Infosys takes most of the students (around 20 students were offered with 3 LPA to 5 LPA package). A few end up with good packages (around 2 to 3 students with up to 10 LPA), a few opt for higher s...

G.B. Pant Engineering College.

Placements: The training and placement department is very poor in the G.B. Pant Government Engineering College as they seen in the brochure of GGSIPU is completely different from inside. Our batch has no core electronics placement, and all the companies are for CSE or MAE. If you want placement, then take MAE which is good in this college.

The best college for me, but most of them won't like it.

Placements: The placements are average. It depends on TNP coordinator for the college. They don't usually put many efforts into getting some good companies to campus. So, get ready for your own off-campus search. I'm 2014 passed-out batch, and we had only Infosys as an on-campus company. A couple of 3rd-grade companies were also there as well and can't expect much from them.

Lack of space, facilities are good, good placements in 2015

Placements: Maruti, Honda and Godrej are some companies who gave a good salary package last year and now, L&T and two other core companies are also included who will give approximately the same salary package as mentioned above. But at the same time, the training and placement officer needs to be replaced because he is not working properly for the students.

Why not to opt for GBPEC? Because of its small campus. But opt it for all the other reasons.

Placements: Placements from this college are not so good. For MAE, there are only 4-5 companies and the big fishes are Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Godrej. Both of them select only 4-5 students each (sales + technical). Infosys is another big recruiter, but it mostly recruits MAE students for sales/marketing. The highest package was around Rs. 4 lakhs per annum in Maruti Suzuki. You can find lots of GBPEC students in Maruti's Manesar and Gurugram plants.

Overall a good college to opt for because of highly qualified faculty and more practical labs.

Placements: The placements in this college are good. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, Honda, Infosys, Tata AIG, Microsoft, L&T, etc. had visited earlier. 60% of the students got placed. The highest package was Rs. 8.2 lacs pa and the minimum package was Rs. 5 lacs pa. Vocational summer training is conducted by the college itself but no internship is provided. Each branch has its own student placement coordinator.

Satisfied with faculty and laboratories

Placements: Placements are quite good in GBPEC. For 2015-16, placements companies that visited campus were Maruti, Godrej, Infosys, TIL, Sopra Steria and Zimply. The highest package in 2015-16 was offered by Maruti which is 7 lacs per annum to 5 students. Because of new placement faculty, it is expected that the expected number of students placed will be more this year.
