Placements in our college are very good.

Placements: Placements for our batch were good. Many MNCs and regional companies visited the campus and offered a minimum package of 3 LPA. Almost 99% of the students got placed from the computer science department, but only 80% of the students got placed from the chemical and mechanical branches.

This is a decent college to pursue engineering courses.

Placements: Placements in our college are decent. Around 70% of the students of our batch got placed in through the campus placement drives with a decent salary package. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Alpha 9, and L&T, etc., visit for placement drives. The average package offered was 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 6 LPA.

GCET is one of the top colleges in India.

Placements: The college conducted campus interviews, but I was not selected. Overall, the placements were good. Approximately 60-65% of the students were placed. But, most of the companies are from the sales sector. It is not good for a B.E student. MNCs visit the campus, but they hire very few students from the college. Only 2-3 students are selected from the whole college, and it is not fair enough.

I am pretty satisfied with the faculty and the efforts they put, but placements can be better.

Placements: Almost 270 students are currently placed during our academic year 2018-19. Out of these, almost 48 students are from the mechanical branch. In mechanical engineering, placements are provided, but there are very few students who are placed in core technical jobs. Most of them are placed in technical sales. Some people are also placed in IT companies because our mass recruiters are IT companies. The placement statistics are also manipulated in the way just like other colleges. If a student is plac...

Partially satisfied as there is a lack of practical knowledge.

Placements: Many companies visited the campus to recruit the students, but the ratio of non-technical companies was higher than the technical companies. I was very blessed that I got selected for a technical company named Atul Ltd. Almost 10 students of our batch were placed in technical companies like L&T, Atul Ltd etc. Almost 40 students were placed in non-technical companies like Infosys, Market Magnify etc.

One can gain a lot of knowledge from this college.

Placements: From our batch 2018-19, a total of 256 students were placed. From the electrical branch, a total of 25 students were placed. The highest placements were achieved by the computer and information technology branch as a total of 65 students from CSE branch and 50 students from the IT branch were placed. From our senior batch of 2017-18, a total of 322 students got placed, and the average package offered to them was 3 to 4 LPA. You can check all the data in our college website, www.gcet.ac.in. The college is good to gain technical and academic skills but is not good for other activities.

Placements: Placement rates are very good at G H Patel College, especially for the students of the information technology branch. Many reputed companies like Infosys, L&T, and Tech Mahindra, etc., visit the campus for placements. If you are looking for a job in these companies, then this college is for you.

Satisfied with my college experience. Placements were good in 2018.

Placements: Placements in our college are very good. Many multinational companies visit this college and recruit many students. More than 150 students got placed from this college. The placement procedure is very simple. The placement process for all branches starts at the same time.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members and campus. Dissatisfied with the hostel facilities.

Placements: The placement record of our college is 70-80%. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, L&T, and Alstom, etc., visited our campus for placements. Our senior batch students were also offered placement opportunities, but we had better placements than our senior batch as many new companies have visited the college to hire the students of our batch.

This is a good college because of the facilities, teaching methods and good infrastructure.

Placements: We have a dedicated placement department called TPC cell. Many reputed MNCs like Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, LNT, Wipro, Zeus Learning, etc., visited the campus for placements. TPC cell ensures that every skilled student will get their dream job or at least a good job. So placements are the best thing about this college.

It is the best college in Gujarat to study engineering.

Placements: According to my view, placements in the college in the last year and this year are very good. Every year, several big IT companies visit the college to recruit most of the students. Many companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, etc., visit the college for the mass recruitment of students. The college has a dedicated department for conducting the placements, which is called training and placement cell.

It has good faculty, but bad infrastructure and an achievable scope of improvement in placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were superb. Owing to the huge number of colleges under GTU, and the huge batch size, placements have been historically an issue. The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Around 50% of the batch was placed. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA. The lowest salary was Rs. 50,000 per annum. Companies visiting the campus were L&T, Atul, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Godrej and Boyce. Roles offered were mostly technical like design, automation, coding and mechanical...

This is one of the best colleges in Gujarat.

Placements: Placements in the college of my field are quite low. Last year, more than 80% of the students got placed in the campus placements, and most of them had decent packages. Companies like Infosys and Bajaj visit the campus for placements. Merchant Navy also visit the college and hire the students with the very good package. Overall, I'm much impressed with the placements in the college.

Placements: They bring in so many good start ups in, which provides the opportunity to students to be best at technical work they learn in college. So many IT companies also give preference to Electronics and Communication Engineering students for their talents in linking the hardware with the coding for automation purpose. Placement cell is very active. If student is average at academics and manages to be eligible for placement and is interested in the same then the team will surely make sure that he/she i...
