GH Rai Soni College of Engineering and Management.
Placements: Percent of students placed in this course is more than 80 in my college. The highest and the lowest package was offered to my course is 12 Lacs. Top recruiting companies in India are hiring my core students. Percent of internship in my course is 60% from Computer Science.
Infrastructure: Very good facilities and infrastructure are available in my department. Wi-Fi, classrooms, library, everything is present in my college. The quality of facilities in my hostel is so good, but food is not good. Sports and medical facilities are available in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All teachers in my course have good teaching qualities. This course's curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, but semester exams in my course are very difficult; therefore, more than 20% of students fail.
Other: I chose this course for getting into the Computer Science field. There is no way to improve it. This course, events, campus, and crowd are all so good. Scholarships are also available.

Not satisfied with the infrastructure, very expensive. Spend your money wisely.
Placements: Ethical hacking is the top role offered for cybersecurity professionals. There are also roles like penetration testing, malware development, and cybersec course. From our college, I don't think anyone got such *** sounding roles, as our branch is new and India doesn't have a hacking culture, which creates a bit of a problem. There is also a scene about internships; most of the people get internships through their connections, and the college does very little to help students with internships, and teachers are not professionals.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the worst aspect of this college as they have smaller buildings compared to other colleges in Pune. Also, the hostel is one of the worst things; they have very bad food and no facility that can convince you to pay such large fees. Infrastructure is poor, and they have no campus.
Faculty: Well, it's a plus point of the college that they do have good courses and worthy subjects. Also, teachers are well-educated and teach at the engineering level. Additionally, a bunch of extracurricular activities happen in college including hackathons, coding competitions, and various clubs and club activities.
Other: Very small campus. Our first year is about to complete and still haven't got a fresher's party. There are no parties and social clout, though if you manage to get into a good group at the start of your college, you might get a good college life.

Satisfied because of good placement in 2024, and good facilities and infrastructure.
Placements: My batch is good, not bad. The placement of my college is moderate to high; it depends on student capability to get placed. The top companies recruiting for computer engineering are Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant, Veritas. 50% of students got internships from the computer branch. The roles offered for computer engineers are software developer, software tester, full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and all facilities are available, but the events organized by the college are not too good. However, the basic facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are good. Actually, I am living in the college hostel. Its infrastructure is good; facilities are available on time, but the taste of food in the hostel canteen is not good.
Faculty: The teachers are good at their jobs and knowledgeable in their own domains, but in college, the subjects assigned to teachers, they have a little bit of knowledge about those subjects. Due to this, they are unable to teach in-depth. The exam curriculum is relevant and nicely adjusted by our teachers and HOD. However, the practical knowledge we are not getting until now, so I think they have to change their practical teaching methods.
Other: When I was taking admission to college, software engineering was in high demand. So I took admission in that branch because it has a large scope in the future.

Kind of satisfied with the faculties and material which has been provided to us.
Placements: Placements are quite decent. I would say you can expect a 4 LPA to 15 LPA package from this college. The lowest package provided to our senior batch was 3 LPA, and the highest was around 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies for 2024 were Accenture and Infosys. Roles offered were for system management and AI specialist.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. The campus is not that big, but you will find all the required things in college. Labs are well-maintained. The hostel is good. All the basic amenities like Wi-Fi, 24/7 water supply, and electricity are provided to us. Apart from that, a bed, cupboard, table, and chair are provided.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees here, so you don't need to worry about faculty members that much. Regarding exams, I would say it is easy to pass all the exams as it is an autonomous college, which gives you extra time to upgrade your skills. The difficulty level of exams is not that high; you can easily pass all the exams.
Other: I chose this course as AI is the trending and demanding topic in the current tech industry right now. It will be much better if they improve the facilities like lifts and drinking water filters.

The college life here is good but it doesn’t have a good crowd.
Placements: For the year 2023-2024, the highest placements record was that of 22 Lacs per annum offered by a Japanese company NutanX. The student who got this offer was from Information Technology department. For the year 2022-2023, the highest placement recorded was 45 Lacs per annum which was given by Amazon to a student from Information technology as well. Average package offered this year was of 5.67 LPA and that of last year was 6.79 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has two main buildings including A-Building & E-Building. The campus is very small. The curriculum of the course in divided into categories of CAE having CAE-1, CAE-2, CAE-3 and TAE having TAE-1, TAE-2, TAE-3, TAE-4. The exams conducted in the end are the end-semester exams. The difficulty level of the syllabus as compared to SPPU’s pattern is low. I will rate the hostels 6/10 regarding the management and 5/10 in terms of infrastructure.
Faculty: The faculty here is neither too good nor too bad. Some of the faculty members are highly qualified but they are not really interested in teaching the students, they just want to get done with the lectures, while there are some faculty members who are really caring towards the students’ future and are really hardworking. There are 3 CAEs and 4 TAEs conducted along with the end-semester exams. CAE is the Class assessment examination and TAE is the Teacher’s Assessment examination.
Other: I personally chose the course of Data Science because it has a good future.
