The review of our college.

Placements: The placement of the college is very good. As our seniors said, the computer science and IT branch have maximum placement when compared to other branches. The electronics branch and electronics and telecommunications branch have 80% of placement in our college. The mechanical and civil also have good placement.

GH Raisoni College of Engineering- an autonomous institute

Placements: Wonderful placement in our college. 38 students from ETC got placed this year and many more from other departments. The college has a special training and placement wing which guides all the students in a proper manner and trains them. Also, the college provides Cocubes test for free and conducts it on a regular basis.

I am satisfied with the college, the faculty and the facilities.

Placements: The placements are good, and the best for computer science branch. Our college provides the campus recruitment training, and at least 60-70% of the students got placed this year. Many companies like Capgemini, L&T, Cybage, Smart data, Persistent Systems Ltd, etc., visited the campus this year to hire the students.

My graduation college experience.

Placements: Good placement. It depends on the market situation. Companies from the top level to the average level are called for the placement drive. The opportunity is open to all the students to perform well. Almost 40% of the students were placed. The highest salary was 5 lacs and the lowest salary was 1.8 lacs.

Raisoni is the best and will continue to be the best. Cheers!

Placements: The placements were good. More than 70 percent students got an offer. TCS and Tech M selected 100 plus students. 3 lakh was the average salary given to most of the students. The only bad thing was that once placed, we were not allowed to sit for other companies' interviews. For computer science and IT branches, a number of companies came.

Good college in terms of education and extracurricular activities

Placements: The placements in our college were decent. Many companies especially IT companies like Capgemini and Wipro visited our college for the placement drive. Almost 70 percent students were placed from different branches. The highest package offered was 7.2 lacs by TCS and lowest was 2.4 lacs. The average package was around 3.6 lacs. Also, students from 6th and 7th semester get an internship opportunity with an average stipend of 10000.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2016, really good infrastructure

Placements: There are too many companies which appeared for campus selections like Wipro, L&T Infotech, Cybage, Cognizant, TCS, Tata Technology, Neomee, Infosys, Amdocs, Emphasis, Tech Mahindra, Airtel, Reliance, Idea, KPIT, Syntel, Puro Technology, Prado Infotech, Persistent and Infocept.

Average teaching. Disappointed with campus area.Excellent infrastructure.Awesome cultural activities

Placements: The placement is quite average this year and the last year placement was also average. 20-40% students are placed every year. This year, we have the placement of computer science engineering at 98%. The placement drive conducted was by Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Thermax and various other off-campus drives like Bosch and Godrej and Boyce. We have a custom of compulsory internship for every student, so each and every student have completed his/her 6 months as well as a 1-month industry interns...

They always try to improve in terms of course and faculty.

Placements: The placements are good as compared to other regional colleges. The placement committee is constantly improving and working to tap into more companies. The highest salary offered was 4.8 lacs. Big companies like TCS, Persistent, Infocept and even Indian navy visited the campus.

Review of G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering Nagpur- A mixed bag.

Placements: Placements have been reasonable this year. Day 1 placements included IBM and Capgemini and around 150 students got placed. After that, Persistent, Infocepts, Nice, Hotelkey and Smartdata came for placements. These were local companies in Nagpur (except Persistent) and each took around 10 students. Pool campus included Zensar, Cybage and Tech Mahindra. I am not sure about the percentage but around 60% students are placed from CSE, IT and ETC branches.

Partly satisfied with the faculties. Average placements for core branches. Infrastructure is okay.

Placements: There are not too many placements happening these days. The main reason is, students are not taking it seriously though the college is providing all the facilities and help. Those who are taking the benefits are getting placed in companies. The average package for students is 3 lac rupees.

Faculty is okay, infrastructure is dissatisfying, bad canteen, and great placements.

Placements: Placement is quite decent for branches like ETC, Electronics, IT & CSE. You get several choices of companies in your hands. Although the placements for 2017 batch is yet to conclude but till date, the placements are quite good. Till now, for this batch, the highest salary is 6.5. LPA and was given by a company which is a start-up. For 2016 batch, the highest package was 11 LPA offered by Amazon. The average salaries are in the range of 2.5 to 3.5 LPA.

For me, the college was fine and placements were good.

Placements: I am placed in IBM as a technical support. This was the first company in our college. In my college, 66 students were placed in IBM. They offered us a 3.5 LPA package. In our college, internship is compulsory for all the students. In my branch, 90% of the students are placed in different companies. They offered 2 to 5 LPA as package.

I am extremely satisfied with my overall experience of the college.

Placements: There was a marked improvement in placements for my batch compared to my senior batch. The college also manages to invite a couple of core companies for the placement drives and there are a lot of opportunities for students to get a job at the end of the course. The maximum salary offered was 12 lacs and the minimum was 2 lacs.

Good for practical studies and overall development of students.

Placements: Amazon gave the highest package and there were some startups also. Companies like Bosch, Amazon, TCS, Accenture, Kirloskar, Ashok Leyland etc. came for placement. They offered varied roles like associate system engineer or trainee engineer as usual. The students had to find their own internship then. Now, many companies come for internship also.

The College is good in terms of Infrastructure and Studies, but the amount of knowledge shared is not sufficient and up to the mark. The Teaching staff should work on including practical and real life scenarios apart from concentrating mostly on boring theoretical knowledge.

It’s a good college with limited placements aspects. Faculty members are nice. Good college for people in Nagpur. It has good infrastructure. Placements are very bad for mechanical students. There is a lack of discipline. It has a lot of branches though. But it is still the second autonomous college in Nagpur.

College had a great ambience as far as infrastructure was considered. The faculty and the non teaching staff extended every possible support to the students to achieve their targets. It was fairly a good combination of technical studies and extra curricular activities.. Moreover it has a great scope for emerging talents in various fields . It always provided a platform to the students to showcase their talents through the means of all the annual events it had. Placement record was fair enough.
